High five figures, not low five figures. But my buying has slowed down quite a bit since March. Besides the .22LR, I only have one case of ammo arriving this week (9mm FMJ).Do you have about 20k rounds total in your possesion, or am I a bit low?

“People [e.g. jpeyton] buy ammunition when they see it even if they don’t need it,” said Mike Bazinet, spokesman for the National Shooting Sports Association, which represents firearms and ammunition manufacturers. “It becomes self-fulfilling over time.”
either siteis broken or its sold out already
It's Federal HST premium self defense ammo that's why.
I just scored 10 boxes (box of 50) of 9mm ammo for $13.99 & $16.99 each. Not bad.
i hate you.
Hehe MOAR
No doubt. I'm picking up as much as the stores will allow. What I actually need is 147 gr 9mm ammo. All I've been able to get ahold of is, 115 & 124 gr.
Damn it. I'll trade you some 147 for 124I had several opportunities to pick up HST in 147 gr but have been waiting for 124 +P HST.
I prefer 124 in 9mm, it's pretty much what it was designed for. 147 subsonic and doesn't capitalize on and min/max the inherent trait of the 9mm, it's velocity.
It's like trying to make your 9mm a .40 but with less case capacity.
If I wasn't going to use a suppressor, 124 would be my preferred choice for 9mm. However, shooting 115 & 124 kind of defeats the point of a suppressor due to the loud sonic crack. And 147 gr hollow points will do enough damage to take down the target at close range (home defense). And if it doesn't, the 16 others following right behind it will.![]()
My carry weapon (Glock 26) on the other hand will use 124.![]()
115gr 9mm doesnt always go supersonic. PMC (bronze i think it is?), Federal cheap stuff (red box) from wal mart, and my reloads all dont go supersonic and can be used with my suppressor (although my sig 226 required a spring change when using it suppressed with 115gr). Most of it is borderline supersonic so just depends where you are shooting really. That and what you are shooting. Shorter barrel means better chance itll stay subsonic
THough i do use 147gr most of the time just to separate loads a bit. 115 i play around a bit more charge/powder/bullet wise. 147 is always going ot be a plated bullet for me.

I think a subsonic 115 gr round has a greater potential for a jam as the bullet doesn't have the weight and speed to overcome the additional back pressure the suppressor creates. I'd either use supersonic 115 or subsonic 147 gr for reliability. Ambient temperature also plays a part whether a shot will go supersonic or not, but a 147 gr round normal stays under the sound barrier.
