Went to the range this morning. Nice to see they haven't jacked their reload prices. 45 was $20 for 50 rounds, 38 special was $17 for 50 rounds. Not super cheap but not jacked up. I think these are the same prices they had last summer. Plenty of scary black rifles on the shelf too.

wait, those are prices for reloads? bahahahahahahaha. if you think that is fine even before this panic/hoarding buying, then you're a sucker. you could easily get factory ammo for less than that.

Just bought 5 boxes of 50 from Cabela's for $14.99 each. Maybe not an amazing deal, but it's about as cheap as I have seen recently, and I don't feel like spending a lot of money on gasoline driving to walmarts in hopes of finding one with ammo in stock. As a bonus, Cabela giftcards are available on gyft (can be bought via bitcoin).

Merchandise = $74.95
Postage = $10.95
ORDER TOTAL = $85.90

Payment Types To Be Used On This Order

Gift Certificates = $85.90

this is the stuff I bought, in 9mm, for my glock. Seems like it should work fine, I hope.

Back from the dead...on a bright note I was in a Gander Mountain in Wichita, KS and they had plenty of just about everything in stock...prices were more than Wally by about 30% or so but they even had several thousand rounds of .223 sitting out with nobody picking it up...5 box limit on 50rnd boxes of everything, 2 box limit on bulk packs

Then you find the .22LR, which had a 2 box (50rnd) limit:eek:

My 400rds .45ACP FMJ should arrive Monday, I've already got my 100rds of Hydra-Shok, and I have another 100rds of HST (even better hollowpoint) on order.

This means that if a certain meth addict and her friends again decide they want my stuff more than I do, I will defend it and it probably won't be too pleasant for them. And I'll have plenty of cheap stuff to practice at the range with.

I've ordered that before, it's rebranded Sellier & Bellot.

I've been on a dry spell since that last delivery of 7000 rounds of 7.62x39.

I did pick up a small amount of ammo locally today: 300 rounds of Federal 55 grain .223 (probably repackaged XM193), and 1875 rounds of CCI 40 grain CPRN (probably repackaged Mini-Mags).

Walmart shelves are still bare. A LGS has their shelves jam packed with ammo, but they've got it marked up high enough that nobody was buying.

I did grab a 10 round OEM mag for my new Sig.

Been picking up Tula 308 regularly at Walmart. Almost have all 25 of my G3 mags full exclusively with this stuff. Gun is tight chambered AW#### PTR91 (some brands of brass can stick and cause FTExtract) and the ejection cycle destroys brass so I solved both problems with steel. Ill save my Magtech and PMC brass for the M1 and AR.

Seems to be good stuff. I made a 6" orange cube target thingy dance and chased it off a cliff from 50+ yards standing off hand with iron sights, several mags no failures.
