Yeah, I don't even know why they bother with these silly "polls."

Online polls and actual real world polls with parameters and statisticans conducting them are two entirely different things.

Yeah, we all know how those turned out as well.

Yeah, we all know how those turned out as well.

Other than 2000, with flawed exit polling in Florida, polls have been pretty accurate. Zogby HAS an extremely good record on polling. And his latest poll puts Paul at 5th in Iowa with 9%. Polls in the few weeks before an election are extremely reliable. Several months to a year out are not.

On CBS news this morning they cited a poll done by the Des Moines Registar

The register is a pretty defunked paper. I believe they are up for sale, or have been sold lately (ops...cat out of the bag).

They definitely have an agenda and they rotate in their own little world.
The register means NOTHING!

BYW, iOwa doesn?t matter. Its a blip, as they say.
People that work evenings/nights (like the cops, firemen, clerks) can not even participate. No allowance for absentee ballots either in the caucus method.

The caucus system is hugely flawed and in NO WAY a true representation of the national (or state of iOwa - for that matter) voting trends.

The only reason iOwa has the caucus is their greed. It allowed them to go first before New Hamp. If iOwa did away with the caucus, they'd fall behind New Hamp and that would spell death for iOwa having ANY impact.

It truly means and should mean NOTHING to any candidate that wins or doesn?t win. All will go on and the real leaders will be decided in the next states.

It will take the Dems alot longer than the Republicans.

The Republicans are more of a straw poll than a caucus.

MSNBC is reporting that there is huge turnout in some areas for the Democrats. They sited one place that had 86 people show up in 2004, and over 260 people showed up today.

I take it you are going to be kicking and screaming at 11:59pm on Feb. 5 saying its not over its not over...

So far the polls are looking dead on... Better hope RP beats McCain or hes not going to be in the Debate on Saturday...
