Do you think the beatdown packs in Shattered Halls should also be in that list? They take a ton of healing because of the almost constant MS that they keep up.

I wonder if the guy who reported those numbers took into consideration that huge window of time where transmuting procs were bugged and didn't work.

I am not certain which packs you are referring to. The only packs which I think might benefit more from HT instead of a tree being smart about HoT distribution alone would be the gladiator packs should you choose to pull them.

Probably not since comments after his talked about it being bugged and then another one after that says it was fixed in 2.3.2. Like I mentioned, he may have updated stats somewhere else.

The Gladiator packs are the beat down packs. They're called beat down because I think people referred to them attacking each other as "beat down." I know I've had trouble healing on them, but I think that might be DPS related because I don't think they were focusing correctly (surprise surprise, PUG FTL).

full resto druid and all blue items except for the cape which is lots of armor and stamina added
If you are solo healing and the tank is about par with you in terms of gear then expect a learning curve but you can do it. You will also need adequate CC. There will be pulls where it will be better for you to remain out of tree because the burst damage is just too high and HT will be necessary in order to keep the tank up. For example, you will need HT for the Destroyers in Mechanar and the Bog Lord guys in Steamvaults. Other than that, it is all about your DPS being smart and not getting hit when they shouldn't and keeping those HoTs maxed on your MT. Don't be afraid to use extra mana per pull in order to maintain the LBx3 + Rejuv + Regrowth combo on your MT. It's worth it.

Ok, my best advise for those packs is to skip them. Have your tank pull everything except the beatdown packs to the previous room where the sleeping orcs were and kill them there. At that point, you can run straight down the middle without pulling aggro to that area in between the two big rooms containing the beatdown packs. From that point just pull the next room to that middle area doing the same thing you did with the previous room. It really isn't worth the hassle of pulling the beatdown packs.

im an elixir spec and I love it. I have almost every flask and elixir. For raiding its great. Flask for new content, elixirs for farmed content. One time I proc'd 2 extra flasks, good day.
I rarely use my Xmute... I know, it's lazy. So do you guys just buy the cheapest primal and Xmute to the most expensive on a daily basis? I think the most I can make is 4g a day... well i guess thats 4g i didnt have before.

Yes. Earth -> Water is the most profitable transmute combo I have discovered. However, I am looking into a new means. Tests so far have proven to be successful but the results are slower. Your server's market can very easily destroy my idea, but I don't think any of the readers here are on my server and I like you guys a lot so what the hell.
Here is what I am trying. It requires you to have access to a JC that can cut Bracing Earthstorm Diamonds. On my server, these diamonds sell for about 90-110g a pop. The mats for transmuting an earthstorm diamond are Primal Earthx2, Primal Waterx2, and 9 green quality gems. The total cost in mats assuming I transmute 2 earths into 2 waters comes out to be around 26g for me. I then use my JC to cut a Bracing Earthstorm diamond. Selling that diamond for the minimum of 90g nets me 66g profit.
However, it is important to consider what I could be doing instead. It takes a total of 3 transmutes to do what I described above. I could be using those transmutes for earth -> water and just selling the waters for profit. The profit I gain from transmuting Earth -> Water is about 15g per transmute so 3 days worth is 45g in profit.
66g > 45g
The final cost is AH deposits which I lose. It usually takes me 2-3 tries to sell those diamonds which means I lose 1.8g per failed try. The end result is this:
66g-3.6g = 62.4g
62.4g > 45g
This process takes longer which means I need to be patient but that patience earns me an additional 17.4g more than what a simple earth -> water would get me every 3 days assuming I sell the diamonds for the minimum price. As far as I know, I am the only person on my server which does this. There are usually only 2-3 diamonds up which I need to undercut. These are often made by people who are leveling JC which means they do not fill the AH with a continuous supply. I haven't done this for very long so I do not know if it is full proof or not which is why I still stand by the Earth -> Water being the most profitable. That plus you need a JCer to do the above strat.
