Portal is $3 and change. If you haven't played through this game, you MUST get it.

If your gonna play right now I would get it. It may be less next year but I bet its going to be a while..

More likely to play ME and ME2 first if they come up at a decent price. Looks like I can sleep on it, so I guess I'll see which game pops up in my dreams.

Mass Effect 1 and 2 are both 8$ at Gamersgate for most of the next week, if you need a fallback, for what it's worth.

Interesting - did they update/change how games are gifted now? Rather than buying the game and storing it for later - it takes you directly to the screen to send gift by email or steam id.

Ooo..Deathspank Thongs of Virtue is on sale... must get.

I'm not sure. In the time I've been gifting things, it's always been like that for single items.

However, if you buy a four-pack, or get one of the few games that allows duplicates (orange box, for instance), it stores them.

I got the Valve pack for $25 and am super stoked about it. Especially seeing that I was hoping for it to be $50. But this is rediculous. There are so many games on sale its not even funny. I'm probably gonna get THQ pack as well since it does look pretty intense.

Unfortunate. I wanted to buy a gift, but save it for Christmas......

Have not caved yet but will definitely pick up Indie Fright Pack before the sale is over, might pick up Beyond Good and Evil since it chugs on the PS2.

On the fence with Oddbox since Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath are currently broken.

Want PoP: Sands of Times, thoroughly enjoyed it back on the PS2 but if I pick up the first in the trilogy I must have the second and third. Heard Warrior Within sucked but The Two Thrones was pretty decent.

FEAR complete pack is also tempting never played FEAR 2 but have the original and the first expansion on disc.

Only less than 6hrs to decide...

Deus Ex also has me itching, already have Invisible War on Steam and the first on disc but it's so damn cheap. Same goes with Civilization IV complete have it and the first two expansions on disc, but all 4 games for a price of a meal.

Interested in Patricians and Merchants pack, always wanted Darkstar One.

The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom looks interesting for 39p. Commandos Collection gets a worthy mention for its cheepness too.

Damn you Steam, you're going to bleed me dry. :D

ooh, got Thongs of Virtue

Anyone notice that there are certain games that they have on sale for EVERY sale, like Titan Quest and Torchlight?

Think I'm sitting out day 1. I thought about getting Deus Ex (played the first one when it came out, owned the second one but never played it), Super Meat Boy (sounds like it's really hard which means I'll never finish it because I have other things to do), and a Prince of Persia game (don't know how they'd control on PC vs. console), but I've decided not to.

Yea, and it always baffles me that there are people out there that still don't have (if they wanted them):

Titan Quest
Torchlight
L4D
TF2
HL2
Counter-strike
Portal
Deus Ex
etc.

FO3, FN, Lego Batman/Star Wars/ Harry Potter/indiana jons 1 and 2, and ME2 here I come ...

Any good online/MP games? Outside of the valve stuff, or BC2?

Are the lego games better for the console or PC?

That happened to me on the Black Friday/Thanksgiving sale. I did get Thongs of Virtue on day 1 this time though, but everything else i either have or have no interest in.

I've got a few games on my wish list but unless they go down to really good prices i might hold off since I'm sending my 1911 in for some custom work and that is going to cost me a few hundred bucks (part of it is going to be my xmas gift this year though so that will help a bit).

I was really hoping on a good price for FO3... but $20 dollars just isnt good enough for me considering I probably wouldnt play it at this moment.

I also have been looking at Elemental... I know steam doesn't sell it because its a stardock game but I was hoping a $25 price tag on it though that might be a little to much wiseful thinking.

I went ahead and grabbed Fallout 3 for the $20. I came to the realization it was silly to wait for another $4 drop when I had just spent around a thousand dollars on Blu-rays in the past six weeks. D:

Have it downloading at home and hope to try it tonight! Can't wait! :awe:

Damn KT, that's pretty crazy, what'd you get?

Anyone have any recommendations on the lego games? I have never played one, but they look fun...should I go console or PC with them?

KT do you plan to watch them all? I'm assuming you got about 80ish BRs out of that....are you just building a collection when people come over so you always have something to watch?
