I might pick up the Burnout collection, I can't help but love those games. Otherwise I already have most of what I'd want for today.

The Witcher is more of an old school gaming experience, slower paced but great story and interesting characters. If you can play a more pre-MTV generation paced game, then it's great. If you're expecting something where they throw everything and the kitchen sink at you constantly, then it's probably not for you.

It does have boobies.
It's a less-polished BioWare RPG, basically. It's a good playthrough that flags a bit in the middle, but picks up toward the end. I liked it.

I see The Witcher, Puzzle Quest, and Lara Croft.

May grab up to two of the three (gotta pace myself, this is just day two :D)

Btw, Aion: Assault on Balaurea is an expansion and requires the original game to play, right? The game page does not say anything about this, or maybe I'm blind.

Thinking of picking up The Witcher since I may be getting The Witcher 2 in the future, plus I like boobies.

I caved on:

Deus Ex: GotYE
FEAR complete pack
The Oddbox
Prince of Persia Pack

Jumping on Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut. The original Witcher is such a pain to install with all the patching.

Have my eyes on:

Beyond Good and Evil
Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: The Directors Cut
Civilization IV complete
Commandos Collection
Indie Fright Pack
Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom
Patricians and Merchants pack

AFAIK it's the full game, just renamed. When they released the "expansion", it was a full-on game update, kinda like Eve Online.

I've been out of gaming for a long time. In the last year I finally played the HL2 series, COD1/2 and in the last month I started DiRT2.

I snagged Batman:AA yesterday for $15. That should hold me over for a while.

still no opinions on Disciples III? :( I'm wondering if 7 bucks on this will be a waste.

14 bucks on the Witcher, last year, was rather disappointing (though I don't consider that a bad game--just too much busy work, pack-ratting, questing and un-fun combat to keep me interested in following the story.) ...though I would probably recommend it for 5 bucks for those that want to pump hours upon hours into running around in circles and picking up all of the little quests and features, if that is your kind of thing. :\

Also, in regards to The Witcher, if you plan to play The Witcher 2, your character from The Witcher will import into 2.

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut is $5, is it worth it? Metacritic gave the witcher an 86 out of 100 critic rating and a 9.1 out of 10 user rating.

Bioshock 2 is $9.99, but I have read a lot of bad reviews about it. From what I read, #2 is just near as good as the original.

There are some games i want but not at the price i want.

i also meant as far as daily deals go.

this, I am completely annoyed that FO3 still hasn't gone below 20 bucks. wtf? That's already standard price for ME2.

don't think you'll get it much cheaper than $5 now on steam.

I've been looking to pick up The Witcher after I missed the last Steam sale that had it (I can't even remember which one it was... it was awhile ago). This game doesn't seem to go on sale often.

Is that copy of witcher the final ed copy that people talked about as the one to get? Only moderately kept up on that topic other than knowing that there was some better version to get.
