Is that copy of witcher the final ed copy that people talked about as the one to get? Only moderately kept up on that topic other than knowing that there was some better version to get.

Yes, but you can update the regular version to the EE anyway.

How is RE5?

Think I'll pass on the Witcher, sounds like too much talk for me.

Just bought Burnout paradise, could use a new car game.

I just beat RE5 yesterday... not a bad game... I got it for 10 on impluse. Beat the normal campaigne in 10 hours, played coop with the bro, linear though and the story is iffy. I would say 10 dollars is what is worth, to be honest.

RE5 is only worth $10 if you have someone to co-op with. The story is pretty lame and very linear. But with a friend it is quite fun.

If you want it without all the DLC it's only $15.

:hmm:

I hear a lot of talk that the DLC is poor, but I would, at the very least, like the increased level cap and end-game open play.

I also don't like endorsing this DLC crap. I'd prefer to get the game when it is complete, how games used to be released. :\

wow, so I guess not a single person as played Disciples III. I guess that does not bode well.

:hmm:

There is a demo on Steam of it. I played the demo for a lil bit and I liked it and bought it. I dig those turnbase type of games and this one has a lot of other stuff in it.

FINALLY... Gothic 4 is ON SALE [yes..I'm aware of the poor reviews...but the demo was a nice hack-n-slash].

this, I am completely annoyed that FO3 still hasn't gone below 20 bucks. wtf? That's already standard price for ME2. 😡

ME2 is 30 hours long, at best for clearing everything. FO3 w/out any mods can easily double that if you play a lot of it, and easily get to 100 hours if you're a completionist.

While that is true, I do agree with him. The game is like what 2 years old now? I want it but im not jumping till it is $15. I have enough backlog games that it the wait doesn't matter.

How is Burnout Paradise? For $5, I figure it's worth it for what would turn out to be casual play without a wheel/pedal controller.

Bioshock 2 for $10? Hold me back from my credit card!

I concur with Krakn3Dfx
most sequels at least try and be just at least different enough to not feel like your playing the same game but Bioshock 2, well that game to me was pretty much Bioshock without the charm and engrossing story

So far FO3 is a complete waste of $20. Can't even get the game to play; if I'm lucky enough to get it to launch, it freezes shortly after the opening cinematic. This game is only like two years old, why is it so fucking difficult?

Fuck it, I'm getting the Gothic bundle, people talk up the games enough that it has me intrigued. And what else will I spend the money on? Hookers and blow? For that price I can't get much of either anyways...

Burnout: Paradise is good, but not great. Honestly I think it's a bit overrated. It's advertised as having a "huge, immersive, open-ended city environment" but the problem is that it's actually quite bland, dreary, and emotionless. There are no people walking the streets, everything is a boring greyish color, and the city just overall lacks character. It probably doesn't help that I had to turn off the shitty in-game music.

It also doesn't have a crash mode. To me, the Burnout games were always about the insane crashes. Burnout: Paradise still has awesome crashes, but no dedicated crash mode to play around in. Fortunately the game doesn't penalize you for crashing anyway though. Seriously, you can crash like 5 times in a race and still win. In that sense, it's kind of easy too.

For $5 I'd say it's worth it though. It's still a fun arcade-racer with an insane sense of speed.

I'm gonna have to agree here too. Bioshock 2 in no way surpasses the original, but still, for $10... 🙂
