It's really fun and fresh compared to something like Left4Dead1/2. You can buy weapons with cash earned in-game from killing zombies and you level up stats as well with different classes. I find it has more re-playability than L4D has for me. It's definitely lacking a lot of the polish compared to L4D and it's based on the UT2004 engine so it looks old but I really enjoy it.

I picked this up on a whim for $1.50, and I'm hooked.

It's basically sudoku with math... i quite like it.

Yea, I bought it at launch for $15, and I've tried several times to like the game... but I just don't. To me, it suffers the same problems L4D does: it's too damn repetitive for my tastes. Although, while L4D redeems itself with interesting locations, KF's maps are simply downright depressing.

wow, $3? was only 10 during the other days. i think i'll get it for $3.

Saw it when it was released and didn't hear much and i've not heard much good stuff about it since but for $3 I'll take a chance.


Jolly Rover is good if you like the Monkey Island games.

Picked up the Stalker pack, the fright pack, and the commandos pack today. Tried to concentrate on games my laptop could run for the most part. The zombie driver game is pretty mindless and fun in the fright pack.

It slowed down a lot near the end. Steam seemed to back off on the awesomeness of the sales. Some of them weren't even where they were last Christmas. But some good deals to be had none the less.

Grabbed Sid's Railroads today, love Pirates so this will be fun. Final damages in the ~$40 region for me, although most of that was in the Dragon Age Complete pack haha.

There were some good sales this year, but I dont think they were near as good as last year.

Even though the ID pack was on for something like 25% off, last year it went on for something like 85% off. The doom pack and the quake pack went on a good sale, during which I picked up the quake pack for my daughter.

A lot of the games that were on sale are also on sale all through the year, like Torchlight. I bet torchlight goes on sale every 6 - 8 weeks all during the year. So that was no big deal.

I think the epic pack was more expensive then it was last year.

All during the year I keep an eye on the mid-week madness sale and the weekend sale. I dont think the holiday sales were anything special, or better then I saw all through out the year.

Brink is supposed to be released spring 2011. I was looking for a pre-purchase sale on that game, but never saw anything.

Overall, I was disappointed in the price reductions for the 2010 - 2011 sale.
