So far I've picked up the Deus Ex package ($3 or so) and The Witcher ($5 - wanted the Steam version). Trying to keep my price point below $10 for anything. I did gift the Orange Box @$14.99 and Portal alone at $2-something. Those gifts will be appreciated and are oh-so affordable :) . Looking forward to more cheap deals. Batman AA would be great.

F03 has ran perfect ever since I bought it. Never had any of the issues he speaks of. FOV also runs great too.

Just pick the game up for yourself and don't base it off of his machine. It could be related to some issues that your particular pc doesn't have as his does.

Well it's not like I'm alone, I mean Fallout 3 crashing/freezing is one of the top recommendations and results when I Google and I have not had any issues with any other piece of software or on my PC, but I've completely deleted everything related to the game and am downloading again, so hopefully it will work on a re-install.

Anyway, back on topic. I ordered Bioshock 2 this morning; hopefully that will work on the first go. :D

FO3 was a bit weird for me when I first got it. It would crash, have weird glitches akin to script triggers not working, etc. I shelved it, formatted my system somewhere along the lines, and came back later on to it working perfectly. New Vegas hasn't given me any problems except one crash, though I haven't tried it on my new system.

Thought about getting Bioshock 2, but I couldn't bring myself to finish the first one. It was System Shock with a different skin, so I lost interest since I played System Shock/2 WAY too much.

I did, however, pick up RE5. It was a little more than I wanted to pay given the age of the game (relative to it's original release), but it's been a while since I've played an RE game. I'm also hoping the change in playstyle will keep it fresh.

About the only other game I'm looking forward to is Divinity 2 DK going on sale for more than the publisher's pack discount. And maybe Borderland's DLC since I haven't gotten Claptrap's Revolution yet, and don't want to pay $10 for it.

uh...what Unreal games came out after Unreal Tournament 3? In the Steam pack I see Unreal, Unreal 2, Unreal Tournament, Unreal Tournament 2004, and Unreal Tournament 3. Only one it seems to be missing is 2000...

So I went to Epic's site to see what games might have come out and there is no mention about ANY Unreal game on their site. WTF?

They wiped their PC history from the databanks :D

UT3 did flop pretty bad didn't it? lol

I read somewhere that UT3 didn't sell badly for a PC game, the problem according to Cliffy B was that it was pirated more than it was sold, and because console games like Gears sell in the multi-millions, Epic decided PC games should as well.

It didn't help that UT2K4 was a way better game.

AC2 = $20; or $12 if you own AC1?

what kind of crap is this?

I suppose the fact that I own it for PS3 does not qualify?

lol, ninja update on steam. it is indeed now $14.99 w/o AC1. :D

Well today's deals are even more uninteresting for me than yesterday's, I already got JC2 for that same price a few days ago.

Lame set of sales for me. I have most of those games already. Several of them were as cheap or cheaper a few weeks ago during the Black Friday sales.

today = lame. i'm sorry, but yes.
however I am glad that steam is putting up the same sales as the treasure hunt again, maybe for those that didn't get em the first time around. however, new better deals would be great too.

yeah, same sales they've been doing, ad nauseum for months. I can't understand why COD4 would be $15...aren't we approaching 4 years on that? maybe I'm wrong.

AC2 is the only decent thing on there, and I've no desire to have that on PC, actually.
