Good for you. When we are young we tend to take our health for granted. And, we can because our DNA can handle that bad behavior. In my 20s I could go out until 4am, come home, get 2 hrs of sleep and go straight into work. There is no way in hell I could manage that today. I've noticed that my body aches and my back kills me if I sit down for too long. Prolonged sitting has been shown to be just as bad as smoking BTW.
Yeah from 2005 till 2010 during my "mountain dew/monster induced pc gaming years" my diet mainly consisted of junk food. Cause of medication i was on i was losing weight over gaining it. I saw my rib cage before my doctor took me off the primary medication that caused this. It was beer in 2012 i discovered and well a few times a week i would down a 6 pack. Being around other drinkers well sometimes it was upwards of 15 beers but usually it was 6 . Yeah those carbs did a number on me but at 5,11i jumped to 242 over 8 years . Dropped down to 207 as of my last doctors check in which was about 3 weeks ago. The diet is like a month old but the other various issues had me losing weight prior as well. Due to stock of things, its nothing but water i drink now. The tea lacked the caffeine and it had to much sugar. The diet stuff just has nasty artificial sweetners and well homemade is a bitch to find atm.
Also for my back i find myself walking a bit and getting up helps, i had a slip n fall back in oct of 2018 so yeah its busted up a disk. I am very functional its just if i move my computer or something heavy i may feel discomfort a while. Overall i am easing back into the routine but was told its just time so i mostly relax now. I was able to move my fully loaded CM500P Mesh computer over the weekend a few times without regret then i did it this week as well so its certainly getting better. Even worked a shovel and a hole for over 2 hours a day for 2 days and felt nothing
