Enjoying the game very much. Was able to preload last night no problem. Getting into matches has alos been very easy. The Graphics are excellent and the game seems very optimized. I have had no crashes within about 3 hours of gameplay. Havent tried the SP game yet. Overall this game is very similar to the last MOH which I also enjoyed.

Was watching the live stream of the dude at gamespot playing the single player portion of the game. Man it was a yawn fest, you'd think that after 5+ years of military shooters coming out left and right, you'd think they'd do at least something new (not necessarily innovative), is that too much to ask? The AI is constantly doing dumb shit. Also the dude playing sucked at playing the game, you'd think a game reviewer would be decent at the game right?

I tried all weekend to download it, and still haven't got it.

First off, the transfer rate tops out at around 1.3 MB/Sec, way slower than it used to be.

You can start the download and walk away, but the download encounters errors, and stops. (Error 262149:-3)

I can restart it, but it seems to corrupt itself, because eventually it gets to the point where it errors out every 30 seconds.
I once got to 93%, but had to delete the files and start over.
I've done that 4 times now.

Scanning Google for help and find nothing but sad stories, no one has a solution.

I updated to the newest version of Origin, ran it as admin, and turned off my anti-virus and firewall, none of which affect it in any way.

That sucks, I hope they come up with a solution soon.

Got to play a few rounds of TDM with Bacon and had some fun. Got my butt handed to me, but I think once I learn the game mechanics Ill do ok.

Can someone screenshot the graphics? Every review site seems to only have Xbox360 pictures which look horrible.

PC maxed out is pretty darn nice.. even in Multiplayer.
maxes out pretty well even on my Asus G75 and windows 8 retail.

I'm glad to hear that it looks good, but we want screenshots, dammit. :D

I unfortunately won't be able to play this until the weekend. I'm curious how the PC version looks.

I use Origin quite a bit. I never have any issues at all preloaded last night in under 1 hour.
also downloaded and repatched BF3 and ME3 all within 2 hours.

something on your firewall or your provider is killing you.

I wouldnt say its a waste. I only played combat mission, and a game or two of TDM. Its like COD, combined with the choke points on the infantry maps in Battlefield, like B on Bazaar, while under the pretense of something like Rainbow 6. Its hard to describe. Maybe Army of Two should be thrown in there, because of the two man team stuff. If you play with someone using voice, and you select your classes to complement each other, it would be very deadly. On TDM I would let my team mate lead, and when he got shot I would clean up. hahaha teamwork!

I exited the game and fooled around with the My Gun and My Soldier stuff in the menus last night, and I think part of the problem was I was using the spec ops class. He has no armor at all, which is probably why I lost more CQ fights than I'm used to. I think his weapons are weaker as well. But its strange...you can customize your gun to death (once you unlock the items), but secondaries are fixed. Pointman for example, has a 870 as a secondary. The sniper has a G18. They also put scopes on your guns, but you cant strip them off. Well, there are variants of guns. MK18 SAS has a scope. The Canadian version doesnt. Buts its not considered the same gun, so you have to unlock two sets of attachments.

Killstreaks also seem tied to your class. The aim seems a little weird. There are times where I would have killed a guy at range, using bursts in MoH 2010 and BF3, but I wasnt even close. Some of it is rust, and maybe the MK18 has no range, but wtf.

There might be a lot of depth to the game, once you get past the UI, but the bugs almost ruin it for me. And the UI is cluttered, and yet still missing features. I joined Vulgar last night, but it didnt put me on his team. It was mid game, so I figured the next game I would be switched over. It didnt do it automatically, and there is no way to manually switch over. No way to switch fireteams either, so if you are stuck with a bum its until one of you leaves the game. I played 3 games with a guy who kept going 2-15. He wouldnt get into cover when I tried to spawn on him. He would take off running when I ran to either heal him or myself. It was quite frustrating. I'm thinking he didnt notice the UI telling him these things, as I didnt for awhile.

And OMG, the VOIP blast at the end of rounds. I turned the sound on everything down to 25%, and it still rapes my ears. While I dont love the game like I thought I would, I dont necessarily hate it either. I just hope they support this better than MoH 2010 and address a lot of these issues.

Until they can make a single player campaign that could top COD: Modern Warfare's narrative, pacing, and drama, I'm not going to hold my breath or anything.

MOH SP campaign was easily as good as any of the last COD releases.

Can someone screenshot the graphics? Every review site seems to only have Xbox360 pictures which look horrible.

Honestly, the MP side of the game at least looks like complete trash. It's like the game isn't running at my native resolution. I set everything to ultra and it looks like i'm running at 640p on my 1080p monitor. Go into the menu's and check it says 1920x1080 at 120hz.

The game doesn't look half as good as BF3 does. BF3 has a blue filter I'd say this game has a puke filter. Everything is brownish, and it seems like characters have a orange tinge to them. Not appealing.

I don't know if its the classes I'm choosing, but it seems like the beginning gun for the assault class is useless. I can't win a firefight regardless of how good my aim is. Also, after you kill someone you're a red highlight running around for the opposing team. So you kill someone and die instantly from 10 people all shooting at you.

It's the worst design decision I've ever witnessed. Now, don't get my started on the UI. It's an incomprehensible mess. I have no idea how it made it out of play testing. People had to be engraged by how awful the UI is, but they obviously didn't fix it. They scatter crap all over the screen and expect you to find it. I'll give DICE one thing, they are the UI masters. Danger Close should have done some more testing on their UI.

The sounds are meh also. Sounds like I'm shooting spit wads at enemies, and the ridiculous amount of times I've shot someone in the back only to have them turn and kill me makes me think I am. I'll have to delve into the other gametypes later, but TDM wasn't good.

There's no rhyme or reason to the spawn system that I can figure out. I guess that's kind of a good thing, but it's not something an FPS player is used to. In COD games I could know instantly where the other team was based on where I spawned and where my team was. In this game, my team is over there, i'm here, so I figure the enemy is over there. I face that direction and start moving up only to be shot in the back....

Want to give this game a try, but I'm sure it will be in the bargain bin's before long. I also have no doubt that they will drop support for this game very quickly. Even through it sounds to have some unique features for EA this is just the stop gap between Battlefield games. Not to mention their only way of competing with COD.

something you have is set wrong then.. it looks better than BF in Multi with everything cranked.

very smooth and looks great. but manually set my settings and did not go with what they suggested.

Some classes just seem to take more bullets than others. I wish there was actual stats for each class, like speed, armor, endurance, etc. I think I have been playing the least armored classes, so I have to make sure my shots count or else I'm toast. You should try Combat Mission. There is only one way to go, and you generally know where people are coming from.

You should try Combat Mission. There is only one way to go, and you generally know where people are coming from.

Spec Ops is good with the skill class to see through walls for heat signatures, but the primary weapon is super short range.

Assault is a good overall class to start with, average speed and medium range weapon with a suppressor. Grenade launcher for skill.

Pointman is good with the flash bangs and a secondary that is a shotgun. I believe it has a slightly above average run speed.

If you like to soak bullets, demo is your bet. The skill is to go into tank mode and you get a big armour increase. However the primary weapon is a bit short range, but the secondary is I believe an auto shotgun (or it that unlocked). Very slow run speed.

Sniper is average run speed. Proxy mines, and a secondary that is a G19 from BF3, but with more recoil. The skill is a supported firing mode. When an enemy goes in your field of vision there will be audio callouts to position you.

Heavy gunner is slow run speed. Skill mode is supported shooting. In that stance you have unlimited bullets. However you have to keep an eye on your barrel for overheating.

Each class has its own unique points perks, but the last tier for all is the Apache helicopter. If you have a fire team member, they will get into the gunner seat and you get into the pilot seat for the missiles. All classes have the same support functions.

Please note, this is based on my experience pre launch and shortly after launch, so some of this info may be out of date.

I need to watch some youtube tutorials for noobs I dont have a clue what my soldiers can or cannot do.

I agree with Vulgar that the UI is a incomprehensible mess, but the game looks really good on my machine.

They must have patched something as I have had no more problems getting into games since early this morning.

The sp parts of the game, some sections don't look like they are running at 1080p. Especially the driving scene in that one mission. Runs fine maxed just doesn't look maxed lol.

Has anyone else gotten the Digital Deluxe edition? I can't seem to find the complete soundtrack that was promised. I found the soundtrack file but it only had 5 tracks. I was under the impression that there would be ~20 songs.

The game crashes regularly in SP, and crashed during "weapon selection" when I tried to play multiplayer. I did like the SP campaign that I got through so far.
