Well I got a lovely surprise in my email this morning.......

An email in Danish stating I had changed my Origin email address.

Just waiting for EA customer service to come in so I can give em a call. I have my all of my Origin game receipt emails and the physical copy of BF3, hopefully this can be fixed soon.

Just got off the phone with Origin CS, gave them my info and got my account back, no problem.

Apparently my BF3 name is now Sin_96rus........ahh those sneaky russians

Just put in my Origin name change, I hope it returns DeathDealer7177 as my BF3 solider name too.

Edit: Update; Everything has returned (including the name change) except for my friends list.

something you have is set wrong then.. it looks better than BF in Multi with everything cranked.

very smooth and looks great. but manually set my settings and did not go with what they suggested.

eh I think BF3 looks better, to me MOH looks rather muddy. its not shit or anything, but I do not like the style they went with

I need to watch some youtube tutorials for noobs I dont have a clue what my soldiers can or cannot do.

I agree with Vulgar that the UI is a incomprehensible mess, but the game looks really good on my machine.

They must have patched something as I have had no more problems getting into games since early this morning.

same, i have a very small idea of WTF is going on and the weapon interface is TRASH as its very time consuming to get into it and I dont think you can do it while dead?

The UI is the absolute worst I have ever seen, it's almost as if they just did it to screw with people. I mean something this bad has to be designed with the intent to piss you off, there is no way it's accidental. It's also one of the buggiest games I've seen (I fell through the map on two occasions and a bunch of us spawned outside of the map boundaries with seemingly no way back onto the playing area just to list a couple of examples) and it has severe integration issues with battlelog. That being said, I found that I had quite a bit of fun with it in the couple of hours I probably played last night, so that shows some promise providing they fix the issues.

I dont like all the damn steps to get into wep config and see that stuff, too many steps to setup your soldier to spawn, its not streamlined at all. its entirely a giant process

bf3's interface in game and in battlelog is better, ie simpler and faster

it also blacks out my other screens when I am in game, so I cant even SEE BATTLELOG, or anything else I have up

It wasnt, and I had the CS agent check the account and he said it looked to be ok. He mentioned something about the hacker had only set up a free type of Origin account. Ill keep a close watch on my credit cards just to be sure though.

supposedly it takes longer when you aren't on easy, I saw some people bitching about it on twitter and it took them like 6 tweets to admit to the MOH team that they were on the easiet diff and just jogged right through it

most modern games? this is the ONLY ONE I play that has issues beyond ME3(which is a pretty straight forwards console port).

Borderlands 2, BF3, Saints Row 3, Sniper Elite V2

the black screens doesnt happen all the time it seems, just most of the time. I need to install the new amd drivers and see if that fixes it, or maybe the game is struggling to detect my native res and thats fubaring the others, which arent the same res as my main screen, but again, I think ME3 is the only other game that has issues with it. the others dont, so apparantly MOST modern games DO like it just fine

in game in BF3 you do, except that there are less attachments so its less of a big deal


the spawn menu has a button to bring you to another menu to do it.

is it actually in the spawn menu or do you have to go back to the soldier change page? which I hate since you then cant see your buddy spawn stuff, sometimes spawning into a situation is more imp than class change, and you cant do that, which I dont like

the middle of the screens are EMPTY with a few buttons on them, they could have fit most of it into one page instead of like 5 separate ones, Im not saying its awful, I just find others simpler and quicker, and quick is rather important when you have a 5 second spawn timer

or since I worked about 14 hours yesterday before playing I was too tired to realize what I was doing wrong

with the dual sights, is there a key to swap from zoomed to just the reddot or whatever?


my biggest dissapointment is that there isnt all the unlock info in battlelog like in BF3

battlelog for BF3 is 20 times more powerful than the MOH one.

I like having access to that info from ANYWHERE, and not have to load the game to look at it

Single player was quality, actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Took me about 6 hours on Hard. I actually think the visuals were a step up over BF3 in the SP, at least in terms of presentation. Gameplay was fun--not too many whack-a-terrorist moments (set # of enemies instead) and the driving sequences were actually fun.

Multiplayer is a wash for me right now. Hit detection and movement seems to be off, and the graphics seem to be worse than BF3. Can't comment on map design due to lack of play time. Good differentiation between classes, but not sure about the balance. UI is absolutely horrid--it has everything, but it's poorly designed to navigate, period. I *far* prefer using BF3's Battlelog to MoH:W's in-game presentation.

also difficulty shouldn't be the only thing that makes a game last longer. just because you died 50 times and had to reload a save 50 times vs. 10 times doesn't mean shit.

hmmm...there is no way to join a friend from the in game menus. You can set up a party, and I guess the party leader sets up the game. No "join game" functionality. Kinda lame. Its weird, cause I saw Canbacon playing via Origin, and not via Battlelog. SLU was playing via Battlelog, but not according to Origin. DeadFred showed as playing in both, but not in game!

The party description in game also implied that you needed 4-6 players for a party...after 10 minutes of poking around I decided I needed to do something else with my time...

This place reviewed it already. Just as I suspected, but I already expressed my pre release, psychic opinion of the game a few days ago so I won't repeat it. I can smell a bad game from a mile and a month away (ok, not really but taking a lucky guess works too).

Can't put a number on yet because I haven't finished it, but I can say. It's not worth $60. Wait for a $20 sale. It will be on sale quickly too because it's not that good.

LOL You probably saw the EA customer service guy testing my account earlier.

Im having major issues since I was hacked. It seems Battlelog doesnt like password changes and now I cant join friends or a BF3/MOH game at all from battlelog. EA CS tells me it sometimes take 24 to 48 hours for this to be resolved and they are supposed to contact me Friday evening to check up on my problems.

DAMN YOU HACKERS!!!! :twisted:

PS- the first thing the EA guy says when he logs into my MOH game; "you know, I like this game but the UI is terrible". ROFL
