I am interested, but after some of the disappointing games recently, mainly Diablo 3 and Mass Effect 3, I am trying hard to not get excited and pay full price for any new games going forward. The only recent game that has met/exceeded my expectations was Skyrim.

So I will probably wait till it is on a cheap sale.

BF4 beta access is the main reason why I'll probably be pre ordering this game.

Battlelog is a great addition. I hope the game is decent. The first game had a decent single player, but the MP was totally unrelated to the gameplay of singleplayer. Hopefully with Danger Close taking over both duties it will be a more seamless transition. DICE does great things in MP, but the MP in the MOH reboot was totally rushed and had many issues.

I have some hope for this game.

Personally, I loved the MP in last years MoH. I couldn't get into the SP campaign at all.

The only FPS multiplayer I ever played was Nazi Zombies in CoDWaW, and I only played it with RL friends. As they disappeared and I stopped buying games at full price, I went back to playing SP campaigns only. Hopefully, Warfighter's SP is at least as good as MoH'10's was. I won't be paying full price for it.

Cool. I was skeptical at first, but have come to like battlelog.

This is disappointing. I despise having to launch my damned game through a web browser.

If you are a Battlefield Premium member, you can get 50% off MoH Warfighter, either the LE or DDE editions. Some are saying you don't need to be premium on reddit.

$30 for the LE! Originally found on CAG, referring to a reddit post.

For those that bought on GMG, preorders can be cancelled. I would get the coupon first though, cause I had problems rebuying on GMG when I they brought out the 25% code (previously used the 20% code).

Hmm... I am actually, legitimately considering this.

I got my coupon code. Doesn't expire for another month, so I have some time to think about how much I want this game. :hmm:

If you buy it before release you also get access to BF4 beta.

The only difference between the Limited Edition and Digital Deluxe is the Russian heavy gunner unlock and a useless soundtrack, correct?

Am I right in assuming the heavy gunner can be unlocked in the Limited Edition? If so I cant see paying an extra $5 for the digital deluxe version.

Yeah, I believe these are just day 1 unlocks. I just went with LE myself...I mainly wanted the 50% off, and dont care what it comes with.

Here is what I think of this game and it is also why I won't play it. DICE does all the work to make a pimpass engine. Some DICE executive has a spoiled brat son. DICE executive started a "gaming company" called danger close and put his spoiled son in charge. Spoiled son gets to play around with daddy's shiny new game engine and tries to make a game from it. This helps little spoiled son feel like he is contributing to society and makes him feel like he is actually worth something and not just a spoiled, useless brat. Naturally, the game sucks epic ba**s and would never get bublished if not for daddy's oversight.

This is my impression of the current state of the MOH games.

EA appears to be using Frostbite across all their AAA games going forward. NFS Hot Pursuit and MoH 2010 Multiplayer used it. Now NFS Most Wanted and MoHW are using it as well.

And Danger Close has been around since 1995, in one form or another. Started as Dreamworks Interactive, then EA LA. Danger Close is a subset/team of EA LA. Dice is owned by EA. EA LA also has 6 MoH games under their belt, prior to MoH 2010.

These latest MoHs is really just an overreaction to COD. At least its not called BF: COD edition.

LOL

Ive bought and played all the MOH games except the last one. The only reason I didnt buy it was because I had a lot on plate and didnt have time for another game at the time. However, I did play the beta/demo for MOH 2010 extensively and thought it was pretty fun. The trailers for Warfighter look pretty darn cool, like a CoD4 on steroids. Also I have a few friends that got in on the alpha testing and decided to purchase the game and that leads me to believe I can get $30 worth of fun from it. ;)

I'm not to sure what you are trying to go for.

First off, the Frostbite engine was developed to be an EA central engine. Any team that wants to use the engine is free to do so and is encouraged to use it. What is nice is that any fixes in on game (in theory) will go back into the main pipe and will help the next game in development.

As for Danger Close, they are focusing on a different part of the war genre. They are focusing on more story and small two person teams for multiplayer. BF3 in my opinion didn't really focus on the singleplayer, but solely on multiplayer. Both can co-exist.

Finally, Danger Close was formally called EA LA (MoH Frontline). Then before that DreamWorks Interactive (MoH). Not too sure how they are a spoiled son, just leveraging a central tech within EA.
