Every flight I've booked through Chase Ultimate Rewards has been the same as the same flight through Google Flights/etc. They don't use a mileage system - they use a points per dollar system and then give you a 20% discount for point use.

Yeah the pricing on the UR portal isn't that good. I just transfer the points over to United or some other airline and get usually 2.5 cents per point or more instead.

hmmm... solid

Already it was nice as my two cards (Chase Freedom and Discover) both had 5% on Amazon this quarter. They tend to do that once a year (or even expand it to all online sopping), but seems like I end up not buying anything and the next quarter buy something and miss out. Or what usually happens is I'll have 5% on Amazon, put together an order for say $300, then use the wrong freaking card. I probably miss out on the 5% more often than not due to those two things.

Wow, is that 20% discount a year-round flat rate? Didn't know about that.

I did last night. Still haven't received any email confirmation though ... which I thought was weird.
You can call them, and I usually do, reason being I have two Chase Freedom CCs and their activation/confirmation system has zero indication which card is activated. They'll send you an email, you go activate and are left scratching your head which card it was for. Very nutty system.

I actually got the email notifying me of the 10% deal and it already showed my 10% back as active.

Has anyone pulled the trigger on anything yet? There's a few decent deals on some Kindles and Fires right now....

I found out since I already had chase freedom, they auto enrolled me in the 10%. Got an email last week from them letting me know. Already had spent about $400 on some stuff, but I'm sure I'll find a way to spent another $400 on Xmas gifts for people...

I'm hoping Macy's was on that list of places you can get 10% back. Just spent $500 last night on a suit, shoes, shirt and coat. :D Gunna look foooineeee as hell. Maybe TridenT should take a lesson from me.

Slow it down, Trump.

Got my last suit (Ralph Lauren) at Macy's and can't complain one bit. One more wedding this coming Saturday and I'll be hanging that shit in the closet for a while.

I can't be Trump. I don't have a hot, yet fake foreign wife who only loves me for my money.

Yeah, I got a Calvin Klein, midnight blue. Picked up some brown wingtips to go with it. This suit is for interviews...I already have a nice Bar III light grey suit for weddings and other stuff. Good thing all the friends I currently have are already married, or have no plans to be. Weddings be cray expensive $$$$$

I activated this offer on my Chase Freedom account Saturday. Going off of memory here ...

Isn't the 10% cashback spread across four sites (Amazon, Audible, Zappos, Baby something) and limited to $1500 total expenditures in the holiday season? Each site has its own maximum allotment under this offer. The max cashback you could receive spreading $1500 of spending across each of the eligible sites would be $150.

Any spending at qualifying sites beyond $1500 returns 5% cashback.

That's how I understand it, not from this thread, but from Chase's website last weekend.

Damn, looks like the SW premiere promo is gone.

That sucks. I suppose I can still get the 50k on the regular SW card. Already did the sapphire $3k promo.

Their promotion worked, as I have already racked up a decent chunk.
Might as well buy gift cards to fill out the $150 savings.
Thanks!

Rewards points are already accruing to my account. I put $46 toward a statement credit.
Thought I'd have to wait a month or two.
