And don't bitch about how great unions are. Start another thread.
No, you're making the assumption that is what I meant. Since you've only lived in SC your entire life, I'll chalk up your ignorance to lack of experience.

I assumed you meant this. Was I wrong?

And the fact that I haven't lived in three different states means you don't have to mean what you say?

WTF.
Yes I was going to say that I made a generalization, but you jumped all over it like a fat kid on halloween, so I let it ride out to see what other crap you would say.

Even nitemare says SC is backwards. People who live there say it's backwards. Yes it's more apparant in the rural areas, but it's also apparant in the laws and the general legislation of the state. If you don't see that then mabey you havn't been paying attention.
When someone makes a statement, that statement does not always have to be taken as an absolute.

So... you didn't mean what you said? Haha. way to backpedal. Hey at least I got you to contradict yourself. How about figuring out what you're trying to say before posting next time.
I'm not backpeddling at all. When someone says something it does not mean it's an absolute. Meaning that when a statement is made there is the mutual understanding there are many other qualifying statements and truths that can go along with it. These other arguments and truths can both support as well as disprove the blanket statement they are attached to. Since I didn't feel like typing an entire essay on the forum, I stuck to a generalized statement.

Though I don't expect this argument to go much further because you choose to ignore any points in my posts and just attack the semantics. Not everything is black and white as you would like it to be.
I suppose I shouldn't have expected much more from someone who went to south carolina schools.

You honestly see no difference? 🙁

If the North had a problem with it why not start the Civil War about it rather than use it as a rallying flag after they started getting their butts kicked in most major battles.

Awfully cocky undertones for a war you LOST 150 years ago.

Look at when he declared it and look who was winning up to that point.

Well the next one is coming soon, so it will be decided then. And judging from the numbers, the north is gonna get beat down.

hmm, lets see - we have all the guns and ammunition. North has hillary clinton. Should be over with soon.

LOFL. Do you mean that? Or, if it doesn't agree with a point later on, will you just change its meaning and make petty attacks to distract from your backpeddling? You're not making a valid arguement, so quit trying. The reason I am so defensive is because you called an entire state backwards based upon the fact that you've lived in three states. I like the state and I'm sorry you don't.

"others like me"...those that realize that the north won, and that the south was retarded anyway? I suppose you are waving your confederate flag, and calling it the "war of northern aggression"? tool.

Find where I called it the war of northern agression, or where I said the north didn't win, or anything close to that then come back to me. Until then, continue being a complete dipsh!t. You need to take another history class or open up some books. You are misinformed.

More like www.fvckruralareas.com... Seriously, people vary more by distance to the nearest large city than by where in the US they are. There are areas as close as an hour and a half or two hours from NYC that have the "cousin-sister-wife" thing going on... and there's no shortage of large, modern cities in the south & midwest, though probably fewer on average than on the west coast & NE US.

You didn't, nitemare did, I believe you told me to end myself while I was arguing with nitemare, and then told him not to bother with 'people like me'. If you aren't in his league, I don't see where you could be.

But go on, tell me where I'm misinformed. Please good sir, enlighten me.

I've lived in the North and the South, and have visited most states in-between. My verdict: The only places where I could live are either Georgia, Florida, or California. The mood suits me, and the weather is great.

Now they just have to work on getting almost every Georgian other than me off the road, and we'll be fine. Damn Atlanta drivers...

Edit: and being bitter towards the South or North because of a war that happened over a hundred years ago makes about as much sense as judging an entire population based on what state they live in. "You lost the war..." "You were losing..."....no, none of us had anything to do with it.

I just think it's funny to argue north vs. south when the difference in philosophies has little to do with that in this day and age (though it certainly did 150 years ago).

I agree with Gurck.

The Civil War was brother against brother...and that is the sad point. About 620,000 people died as a result of that war.

The Civil War was going to happen...at some point anyway. It all started with differing ideals of the founding fathers...Alexander Hamiltons Capitalism, Thomas Jeffersons Socialism...

The south was agrarian, the north was industrial.

Apples Oranges

Doughnuts Bagels

But thats the beaty of this country. Plenty of places to pick 🙂

The court would see little difference in a murderer and someone who paid him to do it.
This is why countries embargo nations who are dangerous, and why you don't go to the taco bell that employs a bunch of lazy assholes. 🙂

To me it's almost a moral equivalent.

I agree with Gurck.

Modern cities? What... like ones with plumbing?
What does rural mean to you?
More than likely there's a negative connotation due to your lack of experience, or just good ol' fashioned prejudice.

Exactly..thats why I think arguing about the differences is stupid. We are americans. Now people are trying to divide us another way? It is retarded.

Um, well its true.
Those in the my family that live here in the rural soufh are distinct from those in my family that live in the nearest big cities.Of course there is some overlap. But the people that live in Rural areas think different, I have actually heard my uncle refer to the city as godless....
