It really depends on the vehicle. Some vehicles look better with certain sizes, and if you increase your rim size correctly, you can get better traction and handling.

On my year Mustang's for example, the '87-'93 foxes, they look good with 17's, but 18's just don't look right on a car that came with 15" and 16" rims. I ended up replacing my 16" x 7" rims skinned with 225/55/16's, and going with a 17" x 9" rim with 245/45/17's. I may skip to up a 255 or 265 in the rear when I kill these Dunlops.

So, you are aware that you can upgrade your rim size while not going to a "ultra low profile" right? Even so, do you realize that taller sidewalls flex more, and result in worse handling. I realize you drive a land yacht, so you are used to that floaty feeling, but can you not realize just because you have your opinion, others that don't agree are not "fvcking tards"?
