So the question is who benefits from having the Republicans and the Democrats at each other's throats? Who decided that it was the Repubs that needed to go apeshit and have themselves wound up tight by a barrage of lies and disinformation where millions of them still believe Trump's ludicrous accusation that his election got stolen from him, where the religious right became a political arm of the Heritage Foundation and the wealthy that fund them?

Who stands to gain from having the GOP take over the nation from a minority party status ad infinitum? Is it that we're being led in that direction by the GOP and not being able to correct course back to where the nation should follow the wishes of those that still believe in demoracy rather than abandon it for the sole purpose of having their emotions being soothed by the few who use their wealth to buy their way into incorporating the government into their sole ownership?

I never suggested anything. You are projecting.
Get over yourself.
You dont know everything.
You clearly dont know what I'm saying.
Rather than ask questions you made assumptions and lies.
Dude…you’ve been asked quite specific questions and all you did was give back a long version of a Qtard saying”Do your research.”

So since a few here seem to not grasp what you’re saying, why continue to tap dance and answer fskimospy directly. He asked, just like you declare you want.

Nothing about this is funny.

They are only going to double down. So far haven't seen the TN GQP paying a big penalty for this.
Oh it’s definitely funny. It’s also them blasting off their own dick. This gains them exactly nothing in a legislative sense but elevates the people they expelled.

But but we still don’t have enough evidence the Tennessee Republican Party are a bunch of racist authoritarians. Tennessee is a working example of systemic and overt racism and a reason why CRT needs to be taught in schools. Unfortunately still not enough evidence for some people here.

OH. and what are these two young congresspeople from TN going to do now that they are so elevated? Help save democracy?

Nothing is happening to the GQP in TN, and it is sad you think they gained nothing. They just got away with overthrowing Democracy in their little way here and there are no consequences on the way that we can see so far. The story is not even on the front page of any national news site and was barely on there even when it happened. It's just a blip in our news cycle. Now they know they can get away with it.

This story was on the front page of several national news sites. They elevated these people in multiple ways and did so in a way that gained them nothing legislatively.

I don’t think you have a strong understanding of how politics works. This isn’t that complicated.

I know you don't have barely any kind of understanding of how the world works. You consistently show no understanding of millennia of human history including recent modern human history. This can very well easily be another sign in the beginning of the end of democracy, and you are laughing.

You think there has to be consequences and that the bad side cannot prevail here. It is good for the defeated of course. How tone deaf.

By the way do you still think that Ron DeSantis and any other Republican of his stature that gains power is going to respect democracy if they get all the power?

Please tell me you are not still that naive about reality.

The history of fire resistant clothing predates the photo by a long time. Fire resistant clothing for fire brigades or common folk until the late sixties or early seventies. A couple hundred years after methods were discovered to prevent flames from lighting up fibers. The last place I lived at my neighbor was a retired fire captain who'd often chat with me over a drink and I learned quite a bit about fire and fire safety from him. He began his service in the late sixties and retired in the early 2010s. Sadly he passed due to cancer a couple years ago. One of his sons had just gotten married in the midst of the pandemic and his wife was due to have their first child. He and his wife had already become grandparents with their older son and daughter but a new baby is always a delight. He was really looking forward to meeting his new grandson.
I assumed that picture was from the 40s or 50s. Lighten up. I envisioned with a flame thrower and all those cotton sheets it would be like lighting up 3 week old Xmas trees.

A little early to be drunk, isn’t it?

Also, you called the protest an insurrection earlier. Can you think of any other insurrections that may have happened recently?
If he thinks what happened in Tennessee was in insurrection why weren't Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Bobert expelled from Congress after the SOTU??

Of course he doesn’t think that - he’s just trying to equate the two because he’s mad that people keep (correctly) noting that Republicans attempted a violent seizure of power.

Did they ever release the manifesto of the Christian School shooter? There were rumours of the shooter being a former student, amongst other things, but I have heard nothing more since.

CNN would call this an "insurrection". There are rules, don't break them.

But a black guy (D)calls and Indian (R) guy "brown face" and nothing is said. Black guy cries out racism. Racism is ok, when the left does it.

Silence on the media and police from the manifesto of the shooter. Same from the guy/girl who got arrested in Colorado Springs who wanted to do the same thing, Media blackout.

It’s always interesting to see what people who consume tons of right wing media think about other media outlets. You guys just have your own reality.

If that was an insurrection then what MTG and Lauren Bobert did at the SOTU was one and they should be expelled, right?

BTW - That brown face guy referred to one of the black legislators as uppity. IFAIK brown face deserved that comment. For the record that GOP legislator was not called "brown face". The quote was he was "the brown face of white supremacy." Haven't you people said all along people of color can be racist? It was just confirmed.
