Not to be offensive or anything, just an observation, but everyone I have ever known who has driven a Cavalier was a lesbian, no joke, EVERY single one of them, I have never known anyone who drove a Cavalier who wasn't a lesbian....

Anyway, I drive a 1996 Nissan Maxima, but in a few months here I am going to get my Camaro Z28 (have to do it before the very last of them are gone, damned Chevy! Damned them all!).

Ohhhh I count the days!

Currently, it's a 1991 Toyota Tercel. Talk about bare bones...

However, see sig for what will be my ride in a month or so (the Ram), and the other toy down there is a bit further off from driver status. :)

When I was a senior in HS, I had 69 GTX with 440 Mag/6-pack. bored .030 over, headers, cam, and Dana 60 rearend. It was the fastest car that I've ever owned,
definitely faster than my current 2k Camaro SS. I miss that car.

Mmmmm, very nice. As it currently stands, the engine in mine (the only part that's in ready to go shape LOL) is 0.030 over, larger than stock cam and it does have roller rockers (all done by previous owner). When I get done with it I'd like to have a full TTI exhaust w/headers, and a nice Gearvendors unit to hook up to a 4.10 rear end (currently 3.55). Can't mess too much with the car though, it is a "numbers matching" 1 of 793 vehicle. :)

Awesome....Matching numbered vehicle is definitely worth putting some money into especially 1 of 793. :D

Man, I miss that GTX. My dad was MOPAR freak, when I growing up all we ever bought was MOPAR products...LOL.

I've also owned Cuda and Roadrunner, and someday, I'd like to get another late 60s MOPAR muscle car to restore.

I have you all owned.

1991 Sable. Yessiree. black. new CD player . . . no other mods . . . unless you count the tail light we replaced cuz some dumb 80+ year old lady nailed my car while it was parked . . . and fled the scene. The new tail light doesn't match = 80 cool points.

We switched wheels, too, the old aluminum ones were falling apart. The new ones aren't as cool.

Heh, the main fuel line was almost completely clogged, it could hardly hit 80, but then we took it to a mechanic (flashing check engine light, burning smell, etc.) and he fixed it. Its actually pretty fast now . . . . and some great engine roar (or is it just a violent death rattle?)

coupla dents (my mother can't park for anything)

its been in our family since it was new: my dad bought it, then he got his grand cherokee and i got the beutiful sable.

One year the battery blew up in the garage. Didn't start, and there was (and is still) a crazy orange-red trail left by the battery acid from where the engine was to the doors on the garage. (the floors slightly slopped to prevent puddles againts the house)

hmm, what else should I mention? Oh yesh, the BIG back seat.

Actually, I don't have all of you owned . . . . I betcha someone here drives a crown vic/ grand marquis. Bonus points if its an ex-cop car.

To quote myself...the Torino has a V8 390 in it and the Buick has a V8 445 (not sure on that one though)...we totally restored the Torino...I have come to the conclusions that purchasing such a damaged car that was so damaged and restoring it is an art...the guy who did the body work has my deepest respect :) I am scared to bring the Torino over to Hawaii though because of the Salt Water and the inherent danger in damaging the car because of the transportation (they jacked my dad's Harley F-150 up on the way down here, so I think it is safer to leave it in Texas)...well, that is enough of my rambling :) Good Night AT.
