Wow, that's a cool car! Did you ever think of changing the color, though? That car would look much more badass in a solid black or red color.

I have a 1984 toyota corolla that I drive, but I need to sell it so I can get my other car, a 1991 vw passat (one of my christmas presents), tuned up. So I drive both.

Is that Corolla RWD?

Currently, it's a 1991 Toyota Tercel. Talk about bare bones...

However, see sig for what will be my ride in a month or so (the Ram), and the other toy down there is a bit further off from driver status. 🙂

I actually drive a 1996 Olds 88 Royale. I also have another one, a 1988 Olds Delta 88 Royale. Still purrs like a kitten and kicks royal *** down the road! 🙂

We're in the same boat. LOL
1997 Oldsmobile Regency (=Olds 88), 3.8l V6, 205hp

Dead silent boulevard cruiser. 80mph on highway = silence
😀

Thanks ultimatebob, yes it will be black very soon. That is the factory original lime green, it was the best selling car color in 1967!

When I was a senior in HS, I had 69 GTX with 440 Mag/6-pack. bored .030 over, headers, cam, and Dana 60 rearend. It was the fastest car that I've ever owned,
definitely faster than my current 2k Camaro SS. I miss that car.

Wow, nice car! Those things were BAD! A friend of mine has a Ford Fairlane GT with the 428 Cobra Jet (375 hp). He said he used to run dead even with GTX's, neither of them could pull an inch.

Thank you, thank you... 🙂 Buying the Ram is probably going to set back the restoration of the Challenger a bit, it's what might kindly be called a "basket case". 😉

Mmmmm, very nice. As it currently stands, the engine in mine (the only part that's in ready to go shape LOL) is 0.030 over, larger than stock cam and it does have roller rockers (all done by previous owner). When I get done with it I'd like to have a full TTI exhaust w/headers, and a nice Gearvendors unit to hook up to a 4.10 rear end (currently 3.55). Can't mess too much with the car though, it is a "numbers matching" 1 of 793 vehicle. 🙂
