My Supra...best time I've hit was last month 12.4 @ 110mph on my street tires. I'm not hardcore about it, but I try to make it to the track at least twice a month.

Have you taken it to the track...be interested to hear some times. (I have a friend with a slightly modded 2000 SS, whom I am racing this weekend down out the track and I'd like to get an idea of what to expect.)

Also, what do you mean by slightly modded?

Here are rest of my mods so far;

LS1 Motorsport Lid, K&N,
NGK TR55 Plugs,
MSD 8.5MM Plug Wires,
Pace VV 85mm MAF, SLP Y-pipe,
B&B Tri-Flow Catback with Quad Tips,
Moser 4.10 Gears,
STB, APHR, LCA, Relocation Bracket,
SFC, Bilstein Shocks, MAC Lowering Springs.

Is that a single or twin turbo? That is very good time btw.

He won't tell me what he's done to it, says it's more interesting to race then find out afterwards, so I figure I'm gonna have my ass handed to me. ;) Wouldn't be the first time.

Twin Turbo with the BPU upgrade...which boasts something around 460 horses to the fly...but I've yet to get my car dynoed, and we all know that paper ratings are worthless.

Unless he has heads/cam, I think he'll need bit of squeeze to get you, imo.

dtyn you should be running much faster than 12.4, my guess is you have traction issues? What are your 60 ft times?

yuh, i suck at the launch...haven't been doing this too long. My 60' on that run was 2.09, not bad, but not too good.

What bothers me is your trap speed. It's only 110, whereas mine is 109. If your trap speed was higher then I would say your ET should be much quicker.

I have a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo 4wd. Or I should say my wife does. Since we live on base and my work is only 2 miles away, I get the great aerobic benefit of riding my bike (bicycle) :(

Oh well, it saves us from another car payment, insurance, gas, ect... and I get exercise whether I want it or not!

Yea, I'm not the master speed shifter either...I figure with some practice (and maybe some drag radials) I'll be wiping the floor with the local vipers.

You have any suspention work done dtyn? Sub frame connections would do you allot of good on your traction.

Currently, it's a 1991 Toyota Tercel. Talk about bare bones...

However, see sig for what will be my ride in a month or so (the Ram), and the other toy down there is a bit further off from driver status. :)

No, no suspension work yet. I just bought this car from my neighbor a couple of months ago, and I'm still broke from that transaction. Hopefully I'll be putting some money into it by April :)

Cool, always nice to see a new hot rodder!:)

I had a TT Rx7 for a while but the engine blew and those rotary engines are $$$$$ to replace.
