Hi guys need help with patching my bios....I m running hackintosh on my ASUSX 99 AII with E52696 V3.
In order to ugrade to Big Sur I need an MSR 0xE2 Unlock And Native NVRAM Patched bios which I found here already.
The only thing missing is to unlock that bios for all core turbo ,but when i load the bios into mmtool and remove the F2 cpu patch then save my bios and rename it to X99A2.
I insert the usb into qflash port and the light is solid blue ,means it doesn't start .

I will upload the bios maybe someone can help with it or to tell me what I'm missing and how should I proceed forward https://we.tl/t-07cF9Ul0Qv
Thanks for the help highly appreciated!!!!

When modding the ASUS BIOS, the AMI Aptio capsule header must be removed.
AMI Aptio capsule does not allow modify BIOS. (Such as mmtool, AMIBCP)
So you must be extract BIOS region first(with UEFITool) and modded whatever you want and them compressed back into the *.CAP

Try this BIOS
Use USB BIOS Flashback

MSR Unlock + Native NVRAM + Removed 306F2 mCode + Turbo Unlock via S3TurboTool DXE

excellent! I took this and ran it through UBU to convert it to a CAP and also update the NIC EFI drivers while I was in there.. my idle power draw went from 170w to 120w!

Hello,
Does anybody can confirm if the xeon hack still works in windows 11 ?
Thanks

If you modded BIOS via DXE or PEI driver and remove 306F2 mCode, the answer is YES.

I already using Windows 11 these systems with Modded TB Unlock BIOS.

E5-2678v3 + HUANANZHI X99-F8
E5-2640v3 + MSI X99-S04 (ES of X99A-SLI)
E5-2620v3 + MACHINIST X99Z-V102
E5-2630Lv3 + HUANANZHI X99-TF

any performance benefits of W11 vs W10 LTSC'21?

so I just enabled the memory timings and overclocking menus on my Z10PE-D8.. had this system for three years and never tried this.. so far I've bumped the mem timings down one notch and the results are looking good
update: none of the cpu voltage offsets work in the bios.. does the s3turbo patch lock the MSR values? or maybe it just overrides the BIOS values on post. I'm wondering if I can do away with the all core turbo patch since the bios has all the options needed, maybe I'd still have to remove the mCode?

I do have a throttling issue(35x multiplier 51c max temp), its not power limited at all, I have c1,c1e, c3 enabled and 36x multiplier if I disable c1 it locks the multiplier max to x35, EDP current limit stays active anyone know why??? E5 2699 V3 on Asus X99-a. if anyone has a bios mod for these e5 v3 cpu's I would appreciate a download. or can you look at my bios file

I have disabled HT and have the same issue

Injected driver file v3_payne_90_50

I still hit a 24542 score on CPU performance test

You have to remove the CPU microcodes for the turbo unlock and if you injected undervoltage driver it will not show it in bios but you can use hwinfo etc. to verify the voltage offsets

I tried my older bios with just the microcode removed and the bios overclocking features ratio overrides and undervolting don't have any effect.. I think it was intended just for the "xtreme" cpu's, it doesn't do the unlock for the v3s. Although overclock menu does add some extra "pll" options to make bclk overclocking more successful along with the memory timings menu that lets you lower your timings to get max potential from the lower clocked 2133 mem

This is not thermal throttling issue, It's TDP Limit Issue. If you want full multiplier on E5-2699v3, you must be use SVID/FIVR Bug(VCCin 1.8V). This allow unlock TDP Limit(to Unlimited)

But I don't recommend it. When I used SVID/FIVR bug with E5-2678v3, the power consumption rises up to 350W (on Cinebench R15, CPU Alone)

Ok well if its all or 35x multiplier then i will just stick to what i have setup. it will run 36x in games etc and only drops the multiplier on heavy usage.

a -50 -50 -50 setting makes my system stop @ 33x under heavy loads
