VisionTek 6564 GF3 Ti 200; under $85 after cpns and MIR (more, if taxed)

Well, it's STILL showing in stock. Is anybody getting any 'your order has shipped' or 'item is backordered' emails? I'm still in limbo: my order status still shows 'shipment pending'

I went with the Radeon b/c the $50 rebate sounds iffy, and the 8500 looks like it 0wnz. I wasn't wrong was I? I also went with a 400watt Antec P4 power supply. Total after coupon brings me to $200, which was exactly my budget for these components, but was way better than I was expecting.

I was planning on buying the P4 1.8A tonight from them, cause it's fairly cheap, any objections? I only plan on using Crucial 2100, I hope it won't significantly affect my chance at getting past 2.4.

After that, only thing that's left is a P4B266-C (right?) from Newegg, Audigy somewhere (may wait for a deal), and some small fry stuff.

My computer is almost complete!!

My order was not placed until yesterday afternoon. I called CS and he said it has already shipped out and said it was both items, the video card and some Epson 4" roll photo paper that I actually NEEDED He gave me a tracking number and it is due in tomarrow. I don't know about these out of stock e-mails, but I hope my box contains what he said it contains

My on line status says "Credit to be Checked" and nothing abot shipping or anything else. call and see if your order has shipped.

I called GW because I got yhe backorder notice. I was told they may have some in now at some warehouses, depends on where you live if you get one of those. Other than that, they will have more in next week.

I ordered on Fri 2/22 and got the backorder email. Not scheduled to ship until 3/11. They don't have the Asheron's Call anymore, so they said the $50 instant would be prorated accordingly. Decisions decisions.

OOH! UPDATE! I just went and checked the 'order center' at the Gateway Accessory Store online, and for both my Visiontek 6564 card, and my AOE2 game, the status now shows PRODUCT SHIPPED

I was thinking the same thing but it seems like there is more discussion taking place in this thread than in the ones where the 8500 is being discussed. I am still procrastinating on which card to get, although my options may have run out, for the GF3 Ti 200 might not be available anymore.

For those of you in Pennsylvania (I am just outside Philadelphia), the orders appear to be fulfilled out of Swedesboro, NJ. I ordered last Thursday (PM), items shipped Friday, arrived yesterday.

Unfortunately, I was sent the 1.8 cpu instead of the 1.8a, but that is being remedied....

well, my dad just called and told me his Visiotek6564 arrived (I helped him order one Sunday afternoon, then I broke down and ordered one for myself Sunday night).

Now I gotta go install it for him. (still not knowing where MINE is at )

I just called and talked to the nice lady at the Gateway Accessory Store, and she confirmed that my order had shipped, and she gave me the tracker numbers for it (she also told me the tracking numbers were available at the 'order center' online, but I had already looked there several times, and could not find any tracking number).

anyway, i'm in central PA, and after checking the tracking at UPS, it looks like my Visiontek shipped out of Harrisburg PA (and is supposedly riding around on a big brown truck somewhere in my area right now, waiting to be delivered to me yet tonight!)

my AOE2 game shipped separately out of Illinois...ok, whatever, what do I care, shipping was free!

I got mine today. I am in NY and it shipped from GA somewhere. I ordered thu night and it shipped fri.

Pretty sweet. Didn't get too much chance to play with it, but it runs all the 3DMark tests unlike my old GF2MX. On a stock 1600+ & nforce board I got 6200 (2001) right outta the box. Haven't tweaked anything and I'm still using the drivers that came in the nforce unified driver set.

When does the $50 rebate end technically? Does it have to be received by the 28th, postmarked by then, or will they take it pretty much any time? Thanks.

Scee, it has to be purchased (which I assume is the equivalent of ordered by 2/28. I think it has to be postmarked by 3/28 (or 3/31, sometime near the end of March), so I would assume that as long as you order it before 2/28, you just need to receive it before the postmarking deadline.

Just rechecked my order and it's listed as "shipped". Can't find any tracking info on Gateway's site. For those of you on backorder I think I would give them a call. My order was placed last evening (~7 PM Eastern) and shipped today!

i got an email from gateway telling me that it was shipped today, and it gave me tracking numbers. i checked the tracking numbers, apparently it had been shipped the day after i bought them (feb 23 shipping).

according to ups, it has been delivered. now i have to wait 2 weeks to see it b/c on longterm project in a different state

i had ordered the gf3, which was shipped from south bend indiana, and a 50 spindle of black cdrs which was shipped from millington tennessee. it is all being shipped to texas if it helps anyone
