You can submit the form you have for your rebate. It was not only valid at CompUSA.

I bet you have been asked this MANY MANY times already, but I want to confirm that the VisionTek Rebate Offer 5733 will be valid on the Xtasy 6564 64 MB GeForce3 Ti 200 that I bought on February 26th from the Gateway Accessory store on line. I called and spoke to you about this and I know you told me it was valid at Gateway, so I ordered the card and have already sent in the rebate. However, yesterday, I was at CompUSA and they had the same video card with a rebate that has the same offer number (5733) and the "Ad" said "Valid only at CompUSA." The Rebate form did not say that, only the ad for the rebate. I just do not want to lose the $50 if this is a CompUSA rebate. It is handled by wheresmyrebate.com. Are they working for VisionTek in managing rebates ? Thank you.

To bump the order to $200 I got a $12 Kodak bag for my new DX3700. I don't need no stinkin windows software So it'll be $101 for a GF3 and a camera bag, AR.

Damn this forum, continuosly making me spend money I don't have! At least I can hope to recover most/all of the cost of this new card by selling my old Quadro2 on eGay.

ok 2 packages came today one had my usb hub and a usb cable other had the card and asherons call. age of empires says shipped but didnt come...shud it come later in a separate order or did they just forget to put it in my box?
also, what are u guys using as a receipt, the packing slip or a printout of your order?

I have that same question. When my package arrived, I didn't get a recipt or order from from gateway. I guess i'll have to use the print out of my order.

Go back to the Gateway site and your order -- print out the receipt there -- go to order status and click on Printable Version

You asked about the performance increase. Well, I wondered the same thing. I was upgrading from a Radeon original 32MB DDR card, and wondered how much better this card would be. So, I went and found a demo file for Return To Castle Wolfenstein that people have been using to benchmark. Anyway, the demo file is called checkpoint, and I got it from this page: (I didn't use that guy's tweaked.cfg file though). So, I ran my old Radeon through the demo several times at different video settings. Then I installed the new card, and ran it through the demo at the same settings. Check out my comparison benchmarking results
***HERE*** CHECK IT OUT!!!.

(Note: the three tests at the bottom where you see zeros for the Radeon, those are tests that I didn't even bother trying on the old Radeon, because they would have taken "forever" to run)

In case anybody needs these results summarized/paraphrased for them: MY NEW VIDEO CARD RAWKS!!!!!! (compared to what I had)...and I haven't even messed around with overclocking it yet!!!

Keyman, I have one from CompUSA that was bought 2/28 and has a rebate form and receipt -- I am taking it back - - If you want it before I take it back (got one from gateway) -- let me know. PM or e-mail to home. The compUSA deal was more ($159 w/ tax ) plus whatever it costs to ship it and you would have to send in the $50 rebate, not me

After reading your post, I opened up my AOE2 box, and no rebate form. So, I searched around, and within 5 minutes I found this page

I hope this is acceptable to get the rebate, because this is what I'm gonna end up doing.

Yeah, me too. Got dark majesty...its the only asherons call they had...if theres no rebate on this (and age of empires)....heads will be rolling.

woohoo, just got it today. My computer has been mad at me since I took my original Visiontek Geforce3 Ti200 out and sold it to my friend (for $160 hehe). I think I'm going to send a copy of my reciept and my packaging slip and hope that works. But hey, even if the rebate doesn't come $138 for this card is still a deal.
