It went for £37 inc. P & P so others must have thought it was the Thermochill, since they retail new for £60.
EBay now have the 950 listed. I sent the following to an eBay shop:
Hello,
I'm interested in the I7 950 and have a couple of questions:
1. Do you actually have the processors or are you waiting for a shipment once its released supposedly on 31/5/09?
2. Are the CPUs Engineering Samples or Retail versions?
3. If it is a Retail version is the box sealed?
4. Are you a shop where you would be able to provide a VAT invoice? I believe (and I may be wrong) that the 3-year Intel warranty only applies to shops.
5. Would you be able to over-night courier the CPU and how much would this cost me?
Thanks for your time.

And I've had the following reply:
Hi ###,
1. The CPU's are held at the Intel distributor until the 31-05-09. On the 31st orders may be placed for this item. They have 39 in stock and 300 on order. The 39 will be allocated on a first come basis.
2. The CPU's are Retail Stock
3. The boxes are retail sealed and the items are brand new
4. We are a online seller and provide a vat invoice with all orders, Intel provide a 3 year warranty on all retail CPU's, Your invoice will be needed to confirm the purchase date.
5. Overnight shipping is included in the price.
Regards,
###
Its tempting, although I'm still a bit concerned about the warranty.
Does the Intel warranty cover eBay shops? If it does, then I'll buy the ah heck.
Edit: btw he only has two 950's listed.
