How do you know? Were you there? Are you friends with the SEA or MIN equipment managers? No? Ok then. The NFL could have kept switching out balls from the heated locker room at x intervals. Quite frankly I have no idea where you got this from because it's never been a story other than in your and phokus' heads.
"They are very concerned with the footballs in the cold weather going below the 12.5 PSI," Paolantonio reported prior to the game.
According to Paolantonio, the footballs will be brought to the field 20 minutes before kickoff, to give them enough time to adjust to the frigid air. More importantly, at halftime, the officials will switch to the backup footballs. Both sets of footballs will be tested after the game.

I guess this is Peter King's attempt to jump off the Deflategate bandwagon.

Why NFL Should Give Back Picks to Pats (But Wont)
The NFL's appeal was heard in court earlier this month in front of a three-judge panel and was largely considered a victory for the league as the trio of judges appeared skeptical of attorney Jeffrey Kessler's argument that Brady routinely destroys his cell phones and sees nothing corrupt about the activity.
the only people who even care about this are pats fans and brady haters. everyone else just LOL's at the whole deflategate thing and knows it's absolutely a non-issue that had no effect on anything.
i'm definitely in here for the lulz.
Brady about to be suspended his 4 games if the Pats lose the appeal, and it's not going well.

More Pat fans' deflection incoming in this thread. The tears will be delicious if Brady is suspended.
Brady's legacy at stake here. Noone will remember wtf the happened, just that he got suspended for 4 games for cheating and it'll be something that can be rubbed in Pat fans' faces forever. Spygate, fined. Deflategate, fined + 1st round pick + Brady suspension for smashing cell phones like a moron.

As a Brady/Belicheat hater I can both care and laugh. It's not an either/or situation.
A federal appeals court has ruled that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady must serve a four-game Deflategate suspension imposed by the NFL, overturning a lower judge and siding with the league in a battle with the players union.
"We hold that the Commissioner properly exercised his broad discretion under the collective bargaining agreement and that his procedural rulings were properly grounded in that agreement and did not deprive Brady of fundamental fairness," the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Monday in New York.
The decision by a three-judge panel may end the legal debate over the scandal that led to months of football fans arguing over air pressure and the reputation of one of the league's top teams.
..this whole case isn't about Brady anymore it's about the process by which he was punished. The power Goodell had to do what he did was collectively bargained, theoretically the owners gave up other things in order have the power, so I don't think you can un-ring that bell once it's in writing and the proper people sign off. Also I hear this Paul Clement guy the NFL hired is a very successful appeal lawyer, so we'll see.
Does that legitimize the contract or the investiagtion?Pats fans, o pats fans, where art thou?

Not surprising, a large majority of legal analyst at the time believed if the appeal actual just focused on the agreed upon powers of the commissioner that the ruling would be overturned.
