Yeah but if Obama loses, its really a HUGE LOSS.

It wouldn't have been had it not been for the latest polls predicting his huge win. Now I think he is still okay if he can pull off South Carolina, because the union is going to back him in Nevada and he has a good chance of being the front runner come Super Tuesday.

How so? Obama is the underdog here.

43% in looks like he's closing the gap...2% separation now.

Ron Paul can't even beat Rudy who ignored the state!

I thought it was an ok speech.

it's hard to give a speech with any type of McCain-esque gravitas when you're being interrupted by applause/cheering every 30 seconds.

Obama's momentium completely deflates with a loss.

it is about delegates and momentum, it isn't a straight majority wins scenario
if clinton/obama are within a few points, it is a wash

all this crap is getting ahead of reality anyway, the top 6, clinton/obama/edwards/romney/mclame/huck are all sticking around until Feb. 5

but Clinton lost in Iowa.

it's hard to frame a win in Iowa and a loss in NH as a "comeback"

but the night's not over till the fat lady sings (which is to say, Greta Van Sustren gets on the air)

McCain only has a 6 point lead right now and he's declared the winner. Hillary has a 4 point lead and it's "too close to call". haha.

All I know is if the primary season ends with Hillary as the Democratic party's candidate, I might be staying home come next November. I refuse to vote for any Republican, in this upcoming cycle, and refuse to vote for her, as well.

The western border precincts are heavily Obama and half of them aren't in yet.

Just let me give myself some hope..

Looks like Hillary is the comeback kid again. The media was predicting a blowout for Obama, so anything short of that is good news for Hillary. Remember, Bill Clinton finished 2nd in NH, but was actually the real winner coming out because the polls predicted he would get pounded.
Looks like a repeat to me.

whoever wins, if Edwards stays in his distant, distant third, you've really got to wonder why the frack he's staying in the race.

I wish he'd just diaf already.

If he did, you know there'd be a lawsuit.

They'd rather lose in the general and keep their hackery alive than have a unifying candidate for change like Obama.
Seriously. They want to be able to tell America that it's still too racist to accept a black President so that they can bitch later, after Hillary loses, about how America is still sexist.

A black president would not be well received by certain countries. Russia, for instance, is very racist. Imagine Obama sitting down at meetings with those people. Not to mention, anyone can say nice things, it is a whole different story actually doing them. All sorts of unknowns should just run for election and preach change and kind words, if they get as far as Barrack Hussein Obama did, they won't have completely failed.

I'm kinda hoping Clinton wins in NH, if only to break the cycle of the Iowa/NH coronation.
