Someone finally sorted the numbers to make sense of them: http://checkthevotes.com/#Comp...e%20vs%20Hand%20Counts

Democratic side

Candidate.......Total..............Machine vs. Hand......Difference
---------...........---------.........----------------...........----------
Clinton............112,238.........+5.460%................+15,717 votes
Edwards............48,666.........-0.824%...................-2,373 votes
Gravel..................402.........-0.004%.........................-11 votes
Kucinich.............3,912.........-0.639%.....................-1,840 votes
Obama............104,757.........-3.081%....................-8,868 votes
Richardson........13,245.........-1.205%.....................-3,470 votes
Other.................4,629.........+0.293%.......................+844 votes
---------...........-----...........----------------
SUM................287,849.........228,307 vs. 59,542

Even though the statistics were significantly different, looking at machine count versus hand count, the electors were even split. If the machine count had mirrored the hand count then Obama would of walked away with a widening lead in the number of overall delegates won up until this point.

edit for Palehorse's sake ;)

Don't you mean "delegates"?

And it's IMHO very wonderful to think the Dems could have those things. What are you afraid of, another era of prosperity and progress, as we have in the past when that happened?

I'd like you to point out the history of when our nation was hurt as a result of democrats being in power in the White House and Congress.
