uhh, as of a few moments ago, I'm hearing that RP is at around 8.5%...

what happened PaulBots?! Is the primary rigged?! Did something break?!

sorry, I couldn't resist...

GO OBAMA!!! WOOT WOOT!

That's funny, I currently see Paul beating Romney, Thompson, and Giuliani, and within a few percent of Huckabee.

well, that's also with less than 1% reporting ;)

I don't doubt that Obama is going to win, but if it's by 34 points, I'll be pretty stunned.

I'm keeping an eye on Berlin County, though... it's where I summered every year till I was like 16.

If that 1% if good enough for Palehorse to declare the race over, it's good enough to prove he's a moron.

There's only 2 counties reporting with 28 votes (4 for RP). Long way to go.

Wow Hillary is doing better than I expected. Still, this is her stronghold. Even a tie for her is a loss. Only about 10% in...

the Republican side isn't going to be definitive until super Tuesday on Feb 5
Huck Iowa
McLame NH
Romney will get Michigan, or a close second
Huck will do well again in SC

but all three are going to keep rolling into Super Tuesday

Exit polls show Obama winning by a smaller than expected margin though. Once the independent areas start hitting, McCains % will drop, and Obamas will jump up significantly.

----Really surprised that McCain won the primary tonight on the Repubs side...I thought he was all washed up, a shame too as they are really sinking their chances of having a candidate that can go up against Obama or Hillary.

Also surprised Hillary wasn't like - a million on my test.

Yeah, I figured this as well. Polls were after all showing a double digit (9-12%) win for Obama just 24 hours ago. But Clinton is doing surprisingly well so far.

It's Clinton 40%, Obama 36% so far for those interested.

This is good for Clinton no matter what. No way she will loose by a large margin even if Obama catches up.

I can't watch the news unfortunately, but what precincts have yet to report? Iowa was close until the final precicints were counted which were obama heavy. Far as I can see, hillary is increasing her lead slightly.

40:38 now. With only 18% of the vote in this could go anywhere.

When do they count the absentee ballots? Are they included in the few reporting precincts?

Please tell me there is a reason for Clinton leading!

edit: that is, a reason like Obama's precincts haven't come in yet

I will look for the link and show how MSNBC's exit polls showed it Obama 40 percent to Clintons 34 percent.
Remember those numbers!

The polls showed a crushing defeat for Hillary though 42 % obama-29 % Hillary with obama gaining, and this is tracking polls. Check out www.zogby.com I would be surprised if Zogby was wrong by this much a 17% swing (+4 for Hillary) something is really wrong with the polling methodology even assuming a +-5 error.
