I realize it's $5, but that's a pretty ridiculous policy. I already own Goo and if it comes with other software Steam is selling I should get a second copy to gift. Seriously, these digital distribution services get away with murder.

Sorry about that. Here's what happened.

The Steam page for the deal shows two products:

Arma II: Operation Arrowhead, and Arma II: Combined Operations.

No mention of 'Arma II' in the description or big print, only Arma II: Operation Arrowhead.

The quotes are all for 'Arma II: Operation Arrowhead'.

Then it says 'Arma II: Operation Arrowhead is a standalone product and does not require the original Arma II'.

I even read a review or II of it.

There's even DLC for Operation Arrowhead, 'British Armed Forces'.

Anyway, I had the wrong impression.

Looking at it now, 'Combined Operations' isn't a product, it's a package.

Sorry for the scare🙂

Yesssss! GTA Liberty City Stories is finally on sale! I already got GTA IV for $5 and now this... Awesome.


Does anyone know if King's Bounty have multiplayer and how good it is?

The game is a lot of fun. Didn't have this much fun replaying levels to get all the challenges for... hmm... probably never 😛 Took me ~14 hours to do everything. Multi sucks though - the challenges are not reset and taken from the host (I did co-op just recently, when I already completed the whole game 100% - nothing to do in multi but 4 achievements you can get on the first level). You also have access to all the weapons the host has. All the actions are shared (if one person enters the menu, the other has to wait too).

Still, very much worth it for the single player alone.
 
King bounty is single player only. I love the game (spent 100's of hours playing) but not everyone cares for it.

I just picked up L4D 2 for $5.00. . Wow. Should we post separate in hot deals? This wasn't even on my radar until I saw it on SD.

I agree 100%. If I went to a B&M store like Walmart's that was selling a game bundle for $5, it's not like they're going to remove one of the games from it if they somehow learned I already had it. I definitely like digital distribution and the many advantages it brings (for me), but stuff like this shouldn't fly. A packaged sale is a packaged sale.
 
I bought the Indie Pulse Pack.

Looking forward to trying it out when I get home. I assume these games are better with electro-untz-untz-untz beats?
