Anybody else having slow download speeds? I'm trying to download Alpha Protocol for like 5 hours and I'm at 11%....its downloading speed keeps varying but its mostly around 100 KB/s...I'm not doing anything else to cause slow speeds but I'm worried my computer/wireless is messed up

Probably sever traffic is high considering a lot of people are finishing up thanksgiving dinner and are unloading their CC on steam.

It'll happen for their X-Mas sale, 1 day for sure. That would be at least 4-5 weeks from release, right?

Is Batman an analog controller game? Is this PC version keyboard-friendly?

I guess I never understand what kind of game it was--I always thought fighter/adventure type thing.
 
My friend has it for PC and he plays it with keyboard, works well I think.

Bought Defense Grid for $2.50, wanted it for a while.

It is a console game but I haven't felt any problems using mouse and keyboard. It's pretty much just a regular fighting game in my opinion. At least I do not consider it to have any more "adventure" aspects than other modern fighting/platform games (in fact, it reminds me a bit of Psychonauts in those respects) but that's probably because Adventure Genre means "I'm selling these fine leather jackets." to me.
 
Like Born2bwire; I had no problem using keyboard and mouse. It wasn't perfect but wasn't nearly as bad as I expected; the game itself was a lot of fun 'cept for the stupid game for window crap. If they had left that off I would have nothing to gripe about 🙂
 
I am an avid PC FPS mouse / keyboard player, however I enjoy Batman AA on PC with a controller. a Xb360 controller to be exact. Batman AA is sweet.. it oozes style.

I highly doubt that will happen. If anything it might be $10 off. no way are they going to drop it to $25-30 for a day.

I'm hoping for something good that I don't already have to go on sale. Nothing has interested me so far.

I agree. The lowest MW2 was on sale for was 10% off, and that was almost a year after release.
 
Is Torchlight a joke? I mean, it never misses a sale. I can think of many other games that should take that spot. Same with any THQ game.
 
I'd really like to see a list of names for the wishlist winners too, and what games they got.. I guess that is too much to ask....

Thanks I wouldn't have looked if you didn't mention it. They have Eufloria in there which looks prettied up since I last played the demo some time ago.

Anyone know if you can gift games from within the pack? I already have World of Goo...
