I have most the games for sale today sadly 🙁

Though Monkey Island 2 is tempting, I don't have the first one so I'll just hold off till I can get that one.

This sale has been amazing for smaller/indie games.

I'm pretty sure this is the last day for sales, as in the sale will end in ~30 mins. It said the sale ends Monday, and if there was another sale upcoming that would mean the sale would end Tuesday.

They could have a surprise "encore" sale, but I doubt that would be worthwhile either.

It says Nov. 24 to 29. Sale days are usually inclusive.

...which it is in this case as well. Although, as others have said, this sale wasn't all that impressive. There weren't really all that many good titles, most have been on same multiple times before, and some other places had better deals.

I ended up picking up Alpha Protocol for $8 and Splinter Cell Conviction for $22. I was hoping for a better deal on Splinter Cell, but $30 for two games isn't bad. It's just not the massive discount that we've seen on Steam in the past.

as if KOTOR hasn't been on sale a million times in the past

I got that game from NewEgg six years ago for $5.

EDIT: CPA, here you go -

Aliens vs. Predator - $6.80
KOTOR - $2.50
Peggle Deluxe - $4.99
Beat Hazard - $2.50
Mafia II - $37.49
Colin McRae Dirt II - $5.00
Metro 2033 - $10.00
Monkey Island 2 Special Edition - $2.50

Can someone post today's list with prices. Can't see them at work.

Aliens vs Predator - $6.80
Beat Hazard - $2.50
Dirt 2 - $5.00
Indie Air Pack (Altitude, Dogfighter, Flotilla, Plain Sight, and Gratuitous Space Battles) - $4.99
Mafia II - $37.49
Metro 2033 - $10
Monkey Island 2: Special Edition - $2.50
Peggle Deluxe - $4.99
Star Wars: KOTOR - $2.50

I think I'm going to get Dirt 2 since I just bought the Logitech Driving Force GT wheel for Gran Turismo 5. Might as well get some extra use out of it.

Valve should require publishers to have a playable demo before they can list their game on Steam.
I am hoping the desperation to have your title listed on what is probably the most popular distribution list will motivate you to do something you damn well shoulda done to begin with. I bought way too many crappy games over the years, and am not paranoid about some titles that could actually be pretty good. But I'll never know cuz I been burned once to often.

Sunday and Monday were/are awful. Oh well, more money for the Christmas sale.

I wonder if publishers are starting to get a bit more reluctant about deep sale prices. Or maybe they don't want to have their discounts fall on a weekend when everyone is spending money elsewhere. I bet an after-Christmas sale is the best bet, for all those people who have plenty of time off work in the week between Christmas and New Years and with Christmas money to spend.

God damnit steam...

I've gotten so far:

Just Cause 2
Metro 2033
The Secret of Monkey Island 2 Special Edition (even tho I haven't beaten the 1st one...)

I'm in the process of getting Trine and Lead and Gold as well...they're just too damn cheap to say no!

Hmmm, I grabbed Lara Croft, and Burnout Paradise (only to find I don't like this game 😛). I think that's it for the 5 day sale, but I already had many of the games from last years sales (which were awesome, by the way).

I bought Defense Grid and the Indie Pulse Pack for a total of $7.49.

It was worth it I think. I'm just disappointed I didn't pick up any major games because there really were none for sale.

have bought most of the indie packs. the air one today was the first one that contained a game i already had, and that was only 1 title total. looks to be stuff to kill at least several hours each just trying out so hard to miss at 5 bucks a pop.

I picked up quite a few this time around:

Deus Ex Pack
Batman: AA
Indie Clever Pack
Metro 2033 (glad I didn't jump on this when it was $13 over Halloween)
KotOR
Indie Air Pack

Got plenty to tide me over for a while now.
