Oh yeah, another thing that bothers me is people saying not to post PMs. PMs are owned by the reciever. If you don't want them out in the open, don't send them at all.

pm's aren't OWNED by anyone.

but there is a difference between posting something in a PM and something publically.

if all Q did was threaten T in a PM to leave him neutral heat and didn't follow thru but then T posted that PM instead of this thread, do you think T would have any support? NO.

so we can clearly see in the minds of almost everyone here on AT that there is a substantive difference between posting a PM and posting a thread or heat.

what do you mean they are not owned by anyone. So my pm's show up under your pm's? Nah I didn't think so. I own them, I got permission to delete my recieved PMs. If I wanna post them, I've got the right. That's all I'm saying.

I didn't quite follow you T and Q question. Who didn't follow thru? Q with his threat or T with his lack of making it right?

His lack of making it right? He only had 45 minutes to respond, and then a neutral was posted.

Yeah, I know he had only 45 minutes IRL. But i didn't understand exactly what PG was meaning. He was giving a scenerio and I don't have all the parameters or don't understand it.

2. Please stop masking your posts w/ emoticons. You're not fooling anyone thinking your posts are friendly just b/c there's a little smiley.

Oh, now we have another mindreader in our midst!! :D :D :D

So tell me what tin foil hat is making you read my mind?

3. Please stop ignoring the question I have asked you at least two times now. I will ask the question here once more.

I'll post what I will and when I will and how I will is not up to your requests.

Thanks. You just removed any doubt anyone had regarding if you were a tool. We now know you are.

You can't even answer a simple question. Yup, it's official that you are either Quarsky's alt, or his gf or bf or somebody that is related to him thus you defend him at all costs. Your defense isn't even logical at times and you come off as an arrogant prick.

You're no longer a neutral party after reading all your ridiculous comments/posts.

technically, anything posted via PM or public thread on AT belongs to Anand and the Anandtech corporation.

but a distinction is made by AT Forum rules and mods between Public Posts and PM's.

if i accuse someone of something publically i am held accountable to them and the public to either prove it or admit i'm wrong.

if i accuse someone of something via PM and then THEY post it publically i am under any obligation to either prove it or apologize for it.

there is a distinction.

Oops, forgot to log in as diapickle/Odin/BigJ (we are all the same person BTW, we trade with each other all the time and accumulate vast amounts of heat. I am thinking of starting another login as well, any suggestions?)

There's a rule against it? I was not aware there was.

Thanks mod for fixing the NOSPAM issue with this account -- now back with my original account. :)

EDIT: For all those who sent PMs to my old [this] account, resend them to this one, since TerumoII is being closed. Thanks!

YAYY i got my new scanner from canon.

:) works like a charm :-D

comparing it to the old one tfinch2 sent me i think i see why it doesn't work. i'll take a photo and post once my camera batteries charge. i looked and tried like 10 diff. aa batteries and all are dead lol sheesh. i need to go buy some rechargeables from walmart :-D

the things or cables taht attach the bar that moves the scanning head back and forth are extremely loose in the one tfinch2 sent me. the ones in teh new one are perfectly taut. i'll send the pic in about 4 hours when my batteries are done :)

You suck at diagnosing scanner problems.

If it's what I'm thinking - it's a very easy fix.

You probably didn't actually open it and fix it though. Which for someone who has built so many computers I would think that would be trivial.

Don't even bother with Terumo anymore. She's a very obvious troll. It's that simple.

That's because they knew you were too dense to follow directions.

Did it have a warranty seal? Most scanners do not.

This thread is crazy. It was a neutral rating! If someone sent me something that didn't work I would be pissed to. I don't care what the person does to fix it, it still isn't a positive experience. People shouldn't get upset over a neutral rating.
