quasarsky should have not been so jumpy with regards to leaving feedback at all. tfinch2 has a right to leave a neutral feedback, negative is too much. If quasarsky left a negative then tfinch2 would be able to leave a negative.

Oh yeah, another thing that bothers me is people saying not to post PMs. PMs are owned by the reciever. If you don't want them out in the open, don't send them at all.

I can say without a doubt that I have earned respect in my deals. I may not have huge numbers of heatware, but you can ask any of the people I've traded with about my service.

I've also been trading on these forums for 6 years.

The only thing you are doing is showing disrespect to established traders. Not a terribly good idea.

A lot of times buyers/salers go on instinct. We buy/sell/trade trusting our own senses if the deal is kosher or not. If someone left you while claiming XYZ product isn't working -- natural instinct will raise an alarm.

Q wasn't beyond being human to think something wasn't right. Just like any other buyer/seller/trader when they deal with anyone else.

and guess what, the most he would have been out by waiting was the time it is going to take for canon to ship him a new scanner.

Yep, which is probably why he wrote a neutral heat instead of a negative (it was sent quickly as he stated and gave that praise).

I don't need a crystal ball because the two haven't disagreed on any significant fact from DAY ONE, other than the fact that Q claimed he received it on the 30th when it was clearly delivered to his place on the 27th. he even acknowledges that it was probably delivered to his place before he actually got to it because he was away.

again, i believe them both because they both agree on all the individual facts. T doesn't even challenge why the scanner is bad, it could have been Q's fault for all we know but it isn't being challenged.

what is being challenged is, Q left neutral heat without given T a chance to respond.

this is what EVERYONE HERE BUT YOU AGREES was wrong.

This is a pattern here. If you disagree with these clans on how a matter is settled, they come out of the woodwork and trash anything in sight (including my FS/FT thread -- which is also against board rules -- doesn't matter because of the Newegg sale ).

Folks are warning about fraud at AT up and down the hardware forums. They are doing it not only because of excuses for payment, because of the atmosphere that excuses the very behavior that make buyers/sellers/traders nervous.

But let's really look at some other fraud as well....
