What do you do when you want to make a return and the store is closed? Burn it down? It was delivered the 27th, you recieved it the 30th, and tested it the 2nd. You waited days before you tested it and now all of the sudden 45 minutes matters?

I feel confident that this will be resolved, and the forum and heatware admins will take the proper steps to do so.

What I think he means (though poorly worded) is that you knew it was broken after he PM'd you that it was broken. Or at least you were informed that he was having the problem with it not working.

By this definition you are a troll. Why? Because you did not resolve the issue reasonably in private with the seller. You had a problem and went "jerry springer" by overreacting and posting heatware WAY before you should have.
 
WOW! Now I know not to get involved in a trade with this guy.

The seller logged off of the forums, and this guy acts like he hung up on him while taking on the telephone.

PM'ing on ATAT is not a live conversation and should not be treated as such. That's why we have telephones, IM, and stuff like that.

Lately we have seen an alarming number of traders newbie, and veteran alike coming up with lots of excuses for poor performance in their transactions. Among these are ..
1. No money to ship your items.
2. No packing materials.
3. No time, due to other family obligations.
4. Midterms/Finals coming up.
5. I forgot.
6. I don?t spend 24/7 behind my keyboard.
7. I just don?t care.
8. I changed my mind.
9. I lost all my PMs and Emails
10.Who do I owe money too? I lost the info
11. Who sent me this money order? I can?t remember what I sold!

On and on and on..................... way too many to list.

People if you have time to post a FS thread, to receive payment, to receive goods, to reply to all the offers in your threads, and to strike a deal to begin with, you have time to pack your items properly, and ship out in a timely manner.
All it takes is a little preparation to begin with. To have your packing materials ready, or even pack in advance if necessary. You should already have a time set aside to deliver the goods to your carrier. And very important is to set aside a few minutes of the day to COMMUNICATE with those with whom you have deals open. IT DOESNT TAKE BUT A SMALL SPACE OF TIME! And maintain an open channel of communication until your transactions are complete.

Why become the topic of a thread that will damage or destroy your reputation? It doesn't take a genius to figure it out my fellow traders! You are slowly but surely making a great opportunity like the forums into a shameful mess that will in time run everyone worth his salt away from here, all because of your lack of responsibility. And that?s all this really amounts to .... taking responsibility for your actions, and implementing a plan to maintain honest, ethical trading practices. You are all old enough to know better, so why act like you need a nursemaid to hold your hand to get the job done?

Your word is your bond, your word is your rep, and your actions speak louder than all the words combined. If you cant maintain and keep your word, and if you can?t meet your obligations, then you have NO business doing business here. PLEASE do everyone a favor, including yourself, and don?t do business where people depend on you to perform your duty to them, and conduct business in a mature and honorable fashion.

Everyone has a burden fall upon them once in a great while, and those rare circumstances can be forgiven. I also know there are few who have had to deal with a much greater burden than I. I am asking you Please to do the right thing. If I can do it, and many other top-notch traders can do it, then you can and MUST! If you don?t, this forum will eventually die, and you will once again be left to the vultures at Ebay, and paying retail for all your hardware needs. DONT BLOW IT!
