Yea I would just stick the computer outside and attempt to overclock or at least put it in a storage room so that it's as cold as the outside but wouldn't get snow inside then attempt to overclock or something, insanely low temps like that would be awesome for overclocking...l

Can you even go outside and breathe in -45 weather? Won't your lungs freeze up after a few breaths?

120 is still 120, I don't care how "dry" it is.

I'll take 120 over -40 any day of the week :)

Getting heavier...

Why would you live in Fairbanks, AK.

You hardly see the sun in the winter. Just a few hours of "light" in the winter. It is so cold, and it is in the middle of no where. Move soon to a nice place like California.

no

and -50 is really fing cold, and this is comming from soneone that grew up in teh cold and enjoys it

when i was skiing a few years ago at Sugarloaf in Me, it was eaisily -20 the whole week i was there, all the pussys didnt come out and i more or less had the whole MTN to myself, its was great

and you can do areobic activity in weather that cold as long as you have a scarf or neckup over your mouth/nose to help heat the air before it gets to your lungs, IIRC the coldest ive ever been skiing in is -70

This would be the ultimate time to try out the new natural frost cooling system... take your computer outside and report your temps!

How can you like living in the middle of no where, in a small town, thousands of miles from any real city.

because its awesome
where i grew up we couldn?t see the nearest neighbor, the mail box was 1.3 miles away, and it took you 20 min to get to a gas station

it was fvcking glorious, and i plan to live in a similar area when i settle down, i will go as far into the boons as I can and still keep cable and broadband

I could ask you the same question about living in a place with so many people right next to you. To each his own.

FYI... It warmed up over night! Only -40 right now. :D

QFT :)

Even when I lived in Iowa, the bigger the blizzard the more people seem to be out wandering around. Weirdos.

brrrr.

Wisconsin seems warm now ;)

I was talking to another member yesterday about some speakers and he's quite excited about the B&W XT line.

I haven't read anything about them or heard them. Do you guys have the XTs in your B&W collection? Any opinions on them?

:)

Haven't brought them in yet. IIRC they've only just begun shipping. They sure look sweet though.

Whoa... thread necromancy!

It's finally warmed up here in Anchorage. For the first time in like two weeks, it's above zero. Wonder how whoozyerdaddy's doing up in Squarebanks?
