"If I knew then what I know now, I would have declined to represent Donald Trump, in these post-election challenges," Ellis said while standing before the judge. "I look back on this whole experience with deep remorse."

Ellis admitted she made false statements that thousands of ballots were counted illegally in the 2020 election; that thousands of felons voted illegally; and that that thousands more underage people illegally registered before turning 18.

here's the twist: she actually always knew exactly what she was doing then, now, and will always know what she was doing at the time.

I wonder if they can charge her for perjury (as well as the others), regarding her testimony here, after Trump is behind bars and the conditions of her deal are met. I mean, these would be new charges after the deal, right? 😀

I say this because, I can't imagine that a condition of their guilty pleas would be that they are allowed to claim that they didn't know--even though it isn't a defense from ignorance, it's still refusing to admit that they intentionally tried to stage this coup. It leaves the "not a coup!" argument on the table for Trump MAGAT bitches like greenman and all the others to keep proclaiming from their thrones of ignorance.

These fucking shitholes must be forced to publically admit that they knew what they were doing, that they knew they were organizing a coup, that their actual intent was to illegally overthrow the government of the United States and end the 240whatever year history of consitutional law. They have to admit that this is exactly what it was all along, because it absolutely must be clear that these fucking fascist sons of bitches did exactly what the majority of this country already knows what they did--I don't expect MAGAT fascists like greenman and the others to ever come around to accepting the very real coup that very seriously happened, but all of these people have to be registered in the public record as admitted insurrectionists that organized and attempted the very real coup that we absolutely know happened.

As far as the sentencing...whatever. Get Orange Julius in jail and out of the public conversation, permananetly--that's the first goal. But establishing on record that these are the people behind and actual very real coup that actually did happen, is just as important for the long term health of this country. Continuing to make the same mistakes regarding Nixon with "healing this coiuntry" is fucking asinine. That never healed the country. It kept this problem going, and it's the same with fucking Reconstruction--IT NEVER FUCKING HEALED.

Deal with the fucking traitor criminals, as harshly as necessary, and law down the fucking law on this fucking nonsense.

I read up on her and looks like she was home schooled by her parents, presumably a strong conservative christian upbringing. In 2019 she got married to a fundamentalist Christian media personality (David Rives). The marriage lasted a whole two months before they got divorced, and then a couple months later she had a meteoric rise to prominence within the Trump administration. I can't imagine a mentally stable person getting married and then divorced two months later and then getting up in front of our country to confidently proclaim the election was stolen.

I kind of figured she would be the next logical domino to fall. She's been on the outs as far as any support from Trump, and she went on the dog and pony shows with Guiliani to the different state houses to lie about election irregularities. She probably has a lot on him and maybe he might wake up and realize pleading and telling on the big boy is his only possible hope for getting out of this shit with something left of his life.
