I hope this plea agreement is tied to the type of testimony she can provide. "Oh gee...I don't know ANYTHING about King Donnie doing anything wrong!" should be enough to dIsqualify the deal.

Of course it is. She made a "proffer" here on video, which means she said exactly what her testimony would be if they gave her this deal. So they already have her testimony on video. She testifies inconsistently with her prior statement, first her testimony will be impeached by the video, then her deal is off and she probably gets a perjury charge added to her indictment. That's how it works.

Analysis suggests that Trump is in deep shit.

She was central to everything that happened and seemingly behind a lot of it.

To get this absolute joke of a slap on the wrist there better be some really good flipping going on.

I refuse to be optimistic until I see Trump actually see consequences, with 2nd best being he isn't the President again.

How deep in shit is he? Need measurement in Big Mac boxes.

Where are the MAGAts that whined about Hunter Biden's "sweetheart deal"?
Why? He was guilty of everything imaginable where she did nothing and is being forced to take a plea or be bankrupted. Clearly they had no case since they dropped all felonies against her...

Nothing? She was actively lying.

And now Trump lawyer Kenneth Cheseboro has also taken a plea. Don't have details yet.

edit: 5 yrs probation, $5000 restitution, apology letter, truthful testimony. sounds like Sidney's deal. Pleads guilty to filing false documents.

The rats are fleeing the ship.

I'm watching Cheseboro being read the conditions of his plea and it must be the most humiliating experience of his lifetime. It's like having to go through the gauntlet that the walk of shame common criminals are given when being arrested only worse.

Hey, maybe Trump will go for plea deals seeing as if it's becoming a trend with his cronies. Wouldn't that be so hilarious and satisfying.

Cheesbro's deal included a guilty plea to a felony charge, according to Washington Post and ABC news. (Unlike Sidney's 6 misdemeanors).

"Chesebro will plead guilty to a single felony charge of conspiracy to commit filing of false documents and receive five years' probation and a $5,000 fine, in exchange for agreeing to testify in the case."

Cheesy was smart to request quick trial. Georgia would want to try as hard as possible to avoid this early trial and reveal a lot of their case before getting to the orange monkey.

He pled guilty to a felony, rather than misdemeanors as Sidney did, and agreed that he conspired with others - including Trump - to subvert the electoral process.Trump was mentioned specifically by name . Something that did not happen with Sidney.

And the good news here is that the Cheese Bro's testimony could be a lot more valuable than Powell's, given that he doesn't appear to be completely fucking insane.

Standard procedure. Flip the little ones on the way to nailing the Chief Rat.

And the optimistic side of me says, these two are not little fish. Chesebro in particular was very involved in planning and architecting the whole thing from what I read. I reckon they must have him nailed to the wall and he knew it from the start, hence the early trial. Probably he has been working on this plea deal from the start but that's a complete guess.

For him to get such an extremely light punishment you'd hope he has something really good to help nail the big fish--there's only one bigger than Chesebro (I don't count loony Rudy). If so, if I was him I'd be hiring some protection because the Trump cultists will be after him.
