I understand the desperation to find a reason for the loss that lays the blame everywhere and anywhere except where it belongs. It's dragged on longer than I anticipated but I do understand it.
But there are other facets to this that could be termed interesting or perhaps over time will prove to be damaging.
First is the near total adoption by the left of the fake news surrounding the loss of the presidency that has been spun around Russia. People that profess themselves to be highly intelligent have been duped and despite numerous efforts to show them they are being duped they are not listening.
Second is the involvement at the highest levels of our government to perpetuate this myth. And not just with words, Obama has kicked Russian 'diplomats' out of the country. (Why they were here in the first place is perhaps a topic for another discussion.) What's really curious is that Russia has taken no countermeasures. In fact they have made a very public point of not doing so.
So, what is going on here? IMO, we need a major power to team up with if we are to beat back ISIS. Russia is that power. Why does Obama want to keep that from happening? What are the reasons for his interference in a cooperative effort with Russia to emasculate ISIS? Why the fake news, the very public actions, the successful effort to turn a huge part of the electorate against the only ally the U.S. could effectively have against Islamic extremists that are terrorizing the world?
Is it just sour grapes or is there something deeper behind the actions of the Obama regime?
Actually, we need to mend relations with Iran. Iranians and Turks are more capable and intelligent than 9-11 Muslims (Saudis, Egyptians).
I've said it before, there's a combination of bureaucratic incentives, ingrained habits from the Cold War, political correctness, and covert lobbying, responsible for this hostility towards Russia. For a taste, read this.
