Russian Hacking (You People are Idiots)

I understand the desperation to find a reason for the loss that lays the blame everywhere and anywhere except where it belongs. It's dragged on longer than I anticipated but I do understand it.

But there are other facets to this that could be termed interesting or perhaps over time will prove to be damaging.

First is the near total adoption by the left of the fake news surrounding the loss of the presidency that has been spun around Russia. People that profess themselves to be highly intelligent have been duped and despite numerous efforts to show them they are being duped they are not listening.

Second is the involvement at the highest levels of our government to perpetuate this myth. And not just with words, Obama has kicked Russian 'diplomats' out of the country. (Why they were here in the first place is perhaps a topic for another discussion.) What's really curious is that Russia has taken no countermeasures. In fact they have made a very public point of not doing so.

So, what is going on here? IMO, we need a major power to team up with if we are to beat back ISIS. Russia is that power. Why does Obama want to keep that from happening? What are the reasons for his interference in a cooperative effort with Russia to emasculate ISIS? Why the fake news, the very public actions, the successful effort to turn a huge part of the electorate against the only ally the U.S. could effectively have against Islamic extremists that are terrorizing the world?

Is it just sour grapes or is there something deeper behind the actions of the Obama regime?

Actually, we need to mend relations with Iran. Iranians and Turks are more capable and intelligent than 9-11 Muslims (Saudis, Egyptians).

I've said it before, there's a combination of bureaucratic incentives, ingrained habits from the Cold War, political correctness, and covert lobbying, responsible for this hostility towards Russia. For a taste, read this.

Gee I wonder why Mohammed makes a better villain with that crowd than Putin. If it has anything to do with how a few dozen white folks getting killed by the wrong people in europe measures up to Putin's wars in their eyes. What about you?

Ever wonder why "that crowd" voted for Obama but not Hillary?

Russia hacking = wmd. No doubt there is cyber between us and Russia / vice versa. To say hacking determined the elections is Cold War legacy baked intel.

What you brain dead fucks still don't comprehend is that hacking didn't influence anything. The deluge of false information about Clinton did. Even on this very page, weeks after the election is over, we have a poster who still thinks there was some corruption exposed by the email hacks, but that poster wouldn't be able to produce a link to a single email that shows corruption if his life depended on it. 30 fucking years of accusations against Clinton, every one based on smoke and mirrors, to the point that easily more than 50% of the population just assumes that she is one of the most corrupt politicians on the planet.

Trump & the Repubs are making some mighty big promises to those folks, promises they have absolutely no intention of honoring. Meanwhile, they'll cut the supports right out from under a lot of poor places in this country, mostly red places. It'll be awful hard to blame Dems, but I'm sure they'll try.

Very easy to blame Dems. They didn't put up a better candidate, and they should have. By not doing so they did you and the entire nation a disservice. Do you not see that?

I think far better are all those who insisted how damning the emails were, until they insisted the emails don't matter at all.

They put up a great candidate. Highly intelligent, tons of experience, and years of public service, much of it dedicated to helping the less fortunate. We assumed that after years of intense scrutiny with no actual wrongdoing found people would accept that she wasn't actually corrupt the way the GOP and conservative media makes her out to be. That was our misstep. Underestimating how fucking stupid and gullible much of America is.

Oh they know all that, they just have more pressing concerns to consider. Sort of like they knew the woman interviewing was far more qualified or least competent but need to find some excuses why the good ol boy should be hired over the bitch/wise and beautiful woman/hag.

If Clinton was the perfect candidate why did some liberals chose not to vote for her and some actually voted for Trump?

It's almost as if a few people believed that "both sides equally bad" your sort's been told to preach.

I find this thread ironic in that the Republicans controlled Congress during the Enron scandal where 85% of them tasked with investigating it had received monetary contributions from them and Arthur Anderson.

So bad, so sad!!!

Perfect was never the contention. The rest? Propaganda works. As Jerry Springer once remarked "Crap sells."

And so it is. DJT will be president with a Repub congress & we shall embark on a radical right agenda. The biggest losers will be the biggest Trump believers. Scams always work out that way.

Had Biden been the Democratic candidate, myself and many other moderates/independents would have voted for him and he would have won.

I'm sure Sanders would've carried the rust belt rednecks with all that talk about socialism, esp helping minorities and such instead of throwing them over that wall.
He would have gotten more independents in the rust belt states despite the socialism fear mongering attacks that would've come his way....

You're just too much of shill for Hillary to realize it.

"Medicare and Social Security well they're the most socialist federal programs implemented in the past hundred years... do you think they help or harm the American people?"

but hey keep on burying your head in the sand and think that I'm some sort of woman hating misogynist for not being in full-throated support for HIllary

It wasn't the person it was her policies and past votes that turned off a lot of people.

Biden could have easily beat Trump
He new exactly how to attack him

How can there be pleasure in saying "You're fired"?

the DNC annointed the one person who could've lost to Trump this past election cycle with the populist anger at establishment business as usual funnel money to the top politics of both parties...

Hell I bet even Jim Webb could've beat Trump.

He can't see it or if he can won't admit it publicly.
He's been turned into a Hillary-bot.

If only they had the wisdom to stick with old white men like yourself. Those uppity womens and minorities... they just don't know what's good for them, right?

Eventually there will be a less polarizing woman candidate that will be the voters choice and become President. Clinton didn't carry the moderate/independent womens vote.

So Trump was the better candidate? That has to be true if Hillary wasn't good enough.

Or maybe that's not what this election was about at all. Maybe it had little to do with rational thought no matter how hard the Clinton team tried to make it that way.

Your whole line of argument is just rationalization after the fact.

So Hillary hate is rational? Or are you just trying to rationalize Trump's win?
Just because voters don't vote for someone doesn't mean they hate the person. If it makes you feel better you can call those that didn't vote for her haters.
