Let me get this straight. Democrats and liberals are upset Russia exposed their corrupt emails to the public? Your mad you got caught. What a joke...
Don' you UNDERSTAND?!?!

Leaking DNC e-mails is the exact same as hacking into electronic voting machine(s) in the U.S. because it distracts from the content of the e-mails. It's RUSSIA, RUSSIA RUSSIA!!!!!!

Leave Hillary alone!

It seems likely to me that millions of Muslims have visited this country in the last 15 years since 9/11. Your application of the ol' tarbrush is duly noted, however.

Millions of Chinese have visited America. Zero *0* have killed Americans. Even though the Chinese are pretty anti-American and are still angry over the embassy bombing.

Okay, now while I did take some philosophy classes, I'm not quite a pro like yourself.

Please show me your wise logic sir, please fill in the missing premise that would fill the blank, since you claim there is no leap of logic and it's purely my imagination.

premise
1. finding potentially Russian origin malware on your systems

missing premise
2. < Jhhnn's "no leap of logic premise>

conclusion
3. Vladamir Putin personal ordered the Russian government to hack the DNC and Podesta and release data to Wikileaks.

Let's try your alternate reality version. Forget the malware. Forget the Russian incentives in helping a buffoon become US president. Go with a version of events from Assange & cronies... because there's no evidence to support such a notion, merely desire on your part.

But...there's no evidence it was 'the Russians!!!!!shift1!!!'? And, er, like WikiLeaks or not, none of their leaks have proven to be non-legit? So, if the material is legit, then, why is there some massive smokescreen deal being made over who leaked it? (if it was even indeed, 'the Russians OMG!')

If it isn't the Russians that's just proof of Russian psy-ops being involved.

Russia is big nice country that love American apple pie. Russia is as American as baseball or hot dogs. With Trump America will be strong like Russia with Putin. All will be right and glorious with the world on the 20th of january when that christ-like orange man mounts the podium and spouts a long stream-of-consciousness rehash of his primary win to cheering Muricans. Glory glory hallelujah.

Russians IMO are quite similar to Americans. In reality. Both have crumbling infrastructures and their middle classes are dying. Both are natural resource giants.

We have oligarchs as well, and stunning inequality. And if we don't get a handle on the debt one day we might end up with a fire sale of public assets enriching a few.

Yes, quite similar.

You'd do well to read this-

https://www.crowdstrike.com/blog/bears-midst-intrusion-democratic-national-committee/

It needs to be understood that both bears are huge & hugely capable ongoing operations engaged in cyber espionage, the kind of efforts that can only be sustained at the level of a nation state. They have their fingers in pies all over the world.

I'm sure the Russians watched with glee as Repub operatives made mountains out of molehills wrt Hillary's emails. At some point or another it had to occur to them that the same could easily be done using their hacked material as a source. So they held back until they found critical junctures & had Assange shill it out for them. Repubs did the rest by running it through their FUD generator.

We'd probably do the same under similar circumstance given the opportunity.

First off, US govt bonds & cash are interchangeable on a sliding scale at the level of high finance depending on anticipated yield.

All US debt is payable in dollars. We could pay it off tomorrow minting platinum coins of huge denominations, depositing them with the FRB & calling the bonds. The govt would lose the ability to fine tune the economy at all in the process.

The whole notion that the govt needs to borrow to expand the monetary base is a holdover from the gold standard abandoned over 40 years ago. Back then, gold was basically the world's reserve currency. Today it's dollars.

Well, that's their stated public opinion/theory...of the Co hired by the DNC, lol. Of course, Assange has said it wasn't RU. So, we have a Co hired by the DNC with a theory, and the head of WikiLeaks (who hasn't had non-legit content, and as such, their accuracy reputation is beyond reproach) telling us that theory is wrong.

Then again, you've again circled back to The Russians!!!! instead of, well, the content. Let me guess: Just yoga classes, amirite? I must say, the meltdowns and inanity I've been able to read popping in and out of here during Nov and Dec have not disappointed. I can only imagine the level of TDS that Lefties are going display for the next <= 4 years...I think it will knock the former #1 DS, BDS, off the mantle.

P.S. I'm glad you made it out alive from Billary's bowel, I'm sure it was an epic situation in there on election night - perhaps a book could be written on your experience?

Crowdstrike is a highly respected international cyber security firm. I'm quite sure their reputation matters more to them than anything the DNC could have offered them to impeach it.

We also have our own security agencies saying the same thing, even in the face of hostility from the incoming Admin.

Quite obviously, Assange & his sources timed the release of the material for maximum effect. Just as importantly, Wikileaks can't maintain their own appearances of integrity if they admit to acting at the behest of any govt even if they are. The veracity of the leaked material gives undeserved credibility in that regard.

Content? It really was pretty innocuous but the right wing spin put on it was nothing short of masterful. What you so fervently believe is tribute to that.

White House fails to make the case that Russian hackers tampered with election

"Talk about disappointments. The U.S. government's much-anticipated analysis of Russian-sponsored hacking operations provides almost none of the promised evidence linking them to breaches that the Obama administration claims were orchestrated in an attempt to interfere with the 2016 presidential election.

The 13-page report, which was jointly published Thursday by the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI, billed itself as an indictment of sorts that would finally lay out the intelligence community's case that Russian government operatives carried out hacks on the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and Clinton Campaign Chief John Podesta and leaked much of the resulting material. While security companies in the private sector have said for months the hacking campaign was the work of people working for the Russian government, anonymous people tied to the leaks have claimed they are lone wolves. Many independent security experts said there was little way to know the true origins of the attacks.

Sadly, the JAR, as the Joint Analysis Report is called, does little to end the debate. Instead of providing smoking guns that the Russian government was behind specific hacks, it largely restates previous private-sector claims without providing any support for their validity. Even worse, it provides an effective bait and switch by promising newly declassified intelligence into Russian hackers' "tradecraft and techniques" and instead delivering generic methods carried out by just about all state-sponsored hacking groups."

He wasn't acting like a tough guy. He was acting like an escaped mental patient that hallucinates racism due to his one track mind. Unfortunately for him, it wasn't acting. In his mind, the struggle is real my friend, the struggle is real.

Keep up that denial, it's certainly served the GOP well. Next time they run an establishment candidate, might want to make sure he's not obviously hispanic or else might get well pummeled by the guy promising to throw his sort over that wall.

Also, good job only finding the courage to rant about people who see the empirical race resentment research for what it is. Wouldn't want people to think you have anything against those who score off the charts.

Oddly enough I trust a tech site more than any major U.S."news" organization regarding this story.

Sad eh?

The fact is Hillary and her shills will come up with any excuse as to why she lost key states and thus the electoral votes instead of maybe looking at the candidate. That is their Downfall (yeah I'm referencing the screaming Hitler video memes)

I'm sure Sanders would've carried the rust belt rednecks with all that talk about socialism, esp helping minorities and such instead of throwing them over that wall.

I understand the desperation to find a reason for the loss that lays the blame everywhere and anywhere except where it belongs. It's dragged on longer than I anticipated but I do understand it.

But there are other facets to this that could be termed interesting or perhaps over time will prove to be damaging.

First is the near total adoption by the left of the fake news surrounding the loss of the presidency that has been spun around Russia. People that profess themselves to be highly intelligent have been duped and despite numerous efforts to show them they are being duped they are not listening.

Second is the involvement at the highest levels of our government to perpetuate this myth. And not just with words, Obama has kicked Russian 'diplomats' out of the country. (Why they were here in the first place is perhaps a topic for another discussion.) What's really curious is that Russia has taken no countermeasures. In fact they have made a very public point of not doing so.

So, what is going on here? IMO, we need a major power to team up with if we are to beat back ISIS. Russia is that power. Why does Obama want to keep that from happening? What are the reasons for his interference in a cooperative effort with Russia to emasculate ISIS? Why the fake news, the very public actions, the successful effort to turn a huge part of the electorate against the only ally the U.S. could effectively have against Islamic extremists that are terrorizing the world?

Is it just sour grapes or is there something deeper behind the actions of the Obama regime?

Not terribly surprising that the new GOP wants to team up against dangerous old foes against the new threat to white solidarity.

It works. Scapegoating worked for Hitler and it works for Obama too. Whether he is aware of it or a victim of it I don't know. I'm leaning toward victim of it.

What are the reasons for his interference in a cooperative effort with Russia to emasculate ISIS?
Haven't you heard? ISIS is the JV team. Insignificant.

I'll stop here even though I could write a book on why people do what they do. The short answer is the real answer is too long and most would TL;DR it so I'm not motivated to try and explain it here.

P.S. Is it just sour grapes or is there something deeper behind the actions of the Obama regime?
There is always something deeper.

Paints everything with the racism brush again outside the lines no less. What a mess.

Gee I wonder why Mohammed makes a better villain with that crowd than Putin. If it has anything to do with how a few dozen white folks getting killed by the wrong people in europe measures up to Putin's wars in their eyes. What about you?
