If we see increased radiation levels from this attack on the NPP, then the United States needs to immediately enter this war. Destroy everything in the Black Sea, take back Crimea, and kill every last Russian in Ukraine.
Hopefully all of Nato Finland and Sweeden will need to attack Russia. Not America alone.

I'd say purposely attacking a nuclear powerplant that will affect all of Europe is pretty close to an act of war on the west. What a lunatic.

The stream itself is very choppy now, if you scrolled back an hour or two you could see tanks roll in and fire at the admin building. That's where at least one of the fires is.

At this point you have to wonder how deeply imbedded these doctrines are within the military leadership. If human self preservation means anything to them with a cornered and weak Russia.

Those with the keys to Armageddon following this guys philosophy is a scary thought.
Well, Aleksandr Dugin's vision of an ascendant Russia isn't that of a suicide mission, so hopefully it won't come to all out nuclear madness. I have no crystal ball concerning the machinations within the Kremlin.

Discussions here about possibility of assassination of Putin have me wondering about Putin's security apparatus. I mean in the USA, the president these days seems to be a lot better protected than JFK and Reagan were. If that weren't the case I think DT would not have survived until 2020 without at least an attempt on his life.

Or the New York Post.

New York Post is a tabloid shit rag. It's sole purpose in life was for crossword puzzles and sports section when you are on the train ride home to taking a shit at the office. Self respecting people grabbed the Daily News for a less ass hatish paper for the commute or for the daily poop.
Always has been, always will.

Anyone who goes to the New York Post for "news" is a doofus.

Haven't watched it yet, but going by your description (and his thumbnail)... He's probably an idiot.

You're telling me the VDV paratroopers are disposable rookies?
You're telling me T80-BVMs, BTR-82As and KA-52s are their worst equipment?
You're telling me taking three days to move three miles is acceptable?
You're telling me all those abandoned tanks,SAMs, artillery and dead men are planned out?

The Soviets traded men for time in the worst of the war, yeah, but, that's some terrifying overgeneralization. The Soviet army was cumbersome, but they're the same ones that pioneered the operational layer between the tactical and strategic. 'Throw shit at wall and hope for the best' wasn't a tactic, deep battle was.

None of that stuff you've posted changes the fact that you can't operate an A-10 in an environment loaded to the gills with anti-aircraft weaponry and that we have weapons systems that don't need to fly so close to the ground to be effective; nor does it account for the monetary or logistics/support costs of keeping this aircraft in the inventory.

He didn't post anything, He copy pasted from the internet without tossing it in quote tags.
Pretty much like every fanboy or blogger pretending to be "A defense journalist" on the internet.

Edit: Not like it's his job to know . He just likes the legend of the A-10. Not trying to be a dick towards him.
Considering what's happening nitpicking his post now seems like a stupid endeavor.

Tank attacks and blows a hole in Reactor 1. It stores nuclear fuel. Spent or otherwise.
Maybe it won't meltdown? Maybe?
Not sure what the containment looks like there, but no normal shell would get through the containment on a Western plant.
