For the record, part of what Rush actually said.
Now, people are telling me that they have seen Michael J. Fox in interviews and he does appear the same way in the interviews as he does in this commercial for Claire McCaskill. All right, then I stand corrected. I've seen him on Boston Legal. I've seen him on a number of stand-up appearances. I know he's got it; it's pitiable that he has the disease. It is a debilitating disease, and I understand that fully. Just stick with me on this.
All I'm saying is I've never seen him the way he appears in this commercial for Claire McCaskill. So I will bigly, hugely admit that I was wrong, and I will apologize to Michael J. Fox, if I am wrong in characterizing his behavior on this commercial as an act, especially since people are telling me they have seen him this way on other interviews and in other television appearances.
Make up your mind Professor. Either you saw a "huge difference" between the two videos or you didn't. DO you have any of your OWN thoughts on this?
I never said I saw a "huge" difference. We have enough misinformation on here without people putting words into peoples mouths.
What I did say was "he is no where near as bad as he is in the commercial" for the ABC story, which I think he true. You can tell he is suffering, but there is no moving side to side.
And on the TV show clip there is no doubt at all that he shows very little evidence of Parkinson's.
I would like to see a clip from this years Boston Legal.
If he can control it for the TV show, either via medicine or filming during his "good" days or moments, then why didn't they do that for the TV commercial?
Can anyone offer me an explanation for that? Other than the obvious, the Fox in the commercial is going to be a lot more effective than the TV show Fox will be.
BTW: Everything above is MY thoughts. Now go look at all three videos and tell me what you think of the differences between them.
