This whole discussion is disgusting. Only someone like Rush would even start such a mean attack. Rush thinks his listeners are total idiots. He plays to total idiots. Thats how he is, thats what he does, thats how he works.

Without even looking into it, I would have guessed MJF goes off his meds for public appearances due to the side effects of those meds. Heavy awful side effects are typical with todays miracle medications. The heavy ones that keep cancer, HIV and other awful illnesses in check, and people with them alive.

They are not aspirin. Typical people are only familiar with simple every day medicines, like aspirin. These super drugs are not aspirins. THANK GOD you healthy folks - first, do not have any awful disease, and second, you don?t have to take these medications. Both scenarios are a nightmare.

Only a fat, dumb, hateful, ignorant, rich blowhard would be so stupid to start this fight. And only the same would even listen to him.

Its reading posts like this that I wonder if there is any hope for America. How totally dumped down, America, can we get?

Anyone, and I mean ANYONE who questions MJF's disease and how it's effecting him has a serious issue with morality and common sense. The disease varies from day to day, let alone year to year. How this bloated piece of ****** limbaugh gets away with this slander is beyond me. And anyone here who backs limbaugh isn't as bad as him, they're worse, they don't need to pander to a moronic subset of america to earn a living, they're just sucking the teat of the gop because that's all they know how to do.
If anyone of you morons here who put down MJF is an actual neurological MD, then I'd be happy to discuss this with you, until then shut your dumbass mouth, you're not only making a fool of yourself again, you're just being an asshole.

Then again, this is the party that attacked Murtha's patriotism. So I guess this shouldn't be surprising, but it doesn't make it any less sickening, pathetic or moronic.

 well said. Only an elitist hypocrite would question the motives of a President, yet give carte blanche to the motives of someone with Parkinson's who also happens to be towing the party line in what may be an exploitative manner.

BTW, on the extreme left wing junk link the OP provided, the Rush audio source was cut off at the end. I wonder what they didn't want you to hear?

 to the OP for parroting audio and video from a left wing garbage site.

Fox lied. The dude he made the ad for, Ben Cardin, voted against stem cell research. But I guess the truth don't matter to you lefties. Talking points is more important even if it is a lie. Remember Edward? He lied and the left swallowed that.

What talking point are you referring to?

MJF has an illness. Going off pills to show the extent of an illness and therefore, the importance of stem cell research is completely reasonable. It has nothing to do with being on the left or right.

Who is giving anyone a blank slate? MJF supports stem cell research and would like to see people in office who will vote for it, so what? He can't support candidates? It is an emotional ad -- deal with it. You see loads of them. How is this any different than any number of other ads that play on our emotions -- whether it be fear, pity or compassion?

By your standards, Reagan was out of line with the Willy Horton ad. Unless things are being made up, it's all fair game.

The only ones towing the party line here are you and Limbaugh.

1. How does MJF get paid? Care to prove that his bank account will benefit?

2. So, because he has an illness means he can't speak out and support research and development for not only himself, but millions of other people? When did he become any less of an American without the rights of free speech?

Shame on anybody who doesn't give all Americans the right to be able to speak their mind, support their cause, and champion the rights and lives of others. After all, that's why this country was founded.

I hope all this shows wakes up the sheeple to just how hateful the right wingers are.

They have been able to hide behind a mask of brainwashing but their little red riding hood costume is looking pretty tattered.

You can't have it both ways. Don't put that first quote in your sig if you can't deal with criticism of MJF.

Care to elaborate? I'm asking you to support your claims. I have no issues with the ads with MJF nor any other as long as it's truthful. Here in MA the GOP candidate is basing almost her entire campaign on Deval Patrick's work as a defense attorney for a rapist, including having a press conference with the family. Is she allowed? Absolutely. Deval Patrick did support the guy as an attorney.

Parkinson's is one of diseases that would most benefit first/most, should stem cell research yield a cure.

The medication MJF takes for Parkinsons can actually make his shaking and rocking worse. So all the dittohead morons trying to continue that avenue of attack now look twice as stupid.

The GOP and Bush have been blindly ideological in their opposition of stem-cell research. Hell, Bush used his one and only veto to shoot down a GOP-sponsored stem-cell bill that was designed to be vetoed. So Democrats definitely have the edge when it comes to supporting stem-cell research.

MJF is a one-issue campaigner. He's all about the stem cell research and virtually nothing else. Just like Christopher Reeves. He's politicizing the issue, because it NEEDS to be politicized. Ideologically-driven, bible-thumping cretins in Congress and in the Administration are holding back valuable medical research simply because they feel like it. They deserve nothing less than this issue thrown in their face.

If anyone is faking something, it's the rightwing blowhards. This 'outrage' by the right just shows how low they can go by accusing an individual with a serious medical condition of "faking it." Blow it out your ass GOP, the voters are overwhelmingly in support of stem-cell research and you're standing in the way.

Those negative ads are backfiring as Healy's numbers in the polls are plummeting like a rock. The same thing will probably happen with Limbaugh and the asshioles like Hannity and the jerks here questioning MJF's motives

I'm surprised not a single person has pointed out the difference between embryonic stem cells and adult stem cells.

Democrats are playing the sheeple for fools, as usual.

What the hell does that have to do with bloated gas bag limbaugh slandering MJF? There is a distinct difference between adult stem cells and embryonic, you have to be just a simpleton, partisan hack to claim that dems don't know that.
Have a swell goosestepping day.

Cracks emerge in GOP?s once-solid wall of backing as hosts shift support

...moments after Bartlett moved down the rows of folding tables to the next interview, however, Boortz said during a break: "I've adopted the opinion that maybe I'd like to see the Republicans take it in the teeth in this election, lose the House and lick their wounds. They just haven't done enough to be rewarded with continued control in Washington."

At least Neil Boortz seems to get it.

You are either naive, ignorant, or both.

My point is that MJF and company are advocating embryonic stem cell research, which has provided no results. Adult stem cells have, and continue to, and are a far more viable (and morally correct-IMHO) resource.

And perhaps the most telling is that MJF has an ad for Ben Cardin who actually voted against stem cell research. Now who is playing the sheeple for fools?

I guess we should let politicians decide which stem cell research is more promising. I mean they know what's best for Terri Schiavo, so they know what treatment is best for the rest of us.

I've heard many comedians make fun of MJF and say a lot "meaner" things about him than Rush did. I didn't see any articles about that posted here.
