You're right. Also, nothing I post here is going to change your mind and what you post won't change mine. What you may see as fact, I may see as innuendo or opinion. My brain requires solid tangible evidence, not feelings, instinct, painted narratives by political pundits, the media, biased liberal professors sharing their own interpretations, etc. It is clearly obvious that the alphabet media has a strong political lean and works very hard to influence public thinking. You are exactly who they are looking to reach and they have been successful. I'm but a lone voice in a forum of like thinkers, or close to alone.
The failure in your logic is your assumption that you're not biased, and likewise, that your media isn't biased, doesn't also have a strong political lean, and isn't also working very hard to influence public thinking.
You also don't seem to notice that one of the ways that 'conservative' media influences public thinking is by convincing its viewers that they are somehow non-mainstream, somehow gifted by them with some special ability of thought that raises them above the like-minded hive, just by believing whatever they tell without question. It's a classic con.
And it's why 'conservative' media followers are able to, for example, claim that it is stone cold logic and rational thought, and of course not emotion or collective thought, that leads them to believe they know more about science than the scientists, even if their last experience with science was in high school. Or that they know more about politics, history, and economics than all the scholars who have devoted their entire lives to those subjects, just because they listen to Rush or watch Hannity or some Youtube channel.
But yeah, you're right.. it's liberals who are the like-minded hive, O Great and Wise Lone Voice.
