I saw them when they were on fox way back in the day when know one cared.😉
When Peter scares Lois and she drops the glasses of iced tea and just stares at him for like 2 min.

When Peter gets swallowed up by that motivational speaker you see on TV all the time with the big teeth.

I forget which episode this was, but for some reason had me laughing harder then ever.

Tony Robbins HUNGRY!!!

Don't remember the specifics but Meg is infatuated with the neighbor's son.

She's trying to make conversation with him but he walks away. She says after him, "I like salt!"
That one I didn't catch until the other night HILARIOUS!!! and she says "I can't taste salt"

In other news... I've gotten to the point where I reate family guy episodes in LPE (laughs per episode) no other show come close. I've watched them since they started airing on fox and I've seen them so many times I know episode names and the number of that episode just by hearing a quote. I'd have to say that episode 220 "wasted talent" has to be the best episode ever. (Its the one where the go to the Pautucket Patriot Brewery. That one kicks ass.

When Lois was waiting for Peter to get ready, she opened the door and it turned out they were wearing the same clothes

Edit: - also Stewie's response to "The weakest link" remarks
- Y2K episode, when Meg put down mouse traps and later a huge mutated rat show up... "BRING IT ON!!!"

Ok, I got a question I hope someone can answer.

I get almost all of the pop culture references in that show, execept for one.

There is one episode where Bryan is talking to Peter on the sofa, and out of nowhere this old MINITAURE miner on a wagon coach with two horses comes through the living room around the sofa into the kitchen, and dissappears. Bryan tries to chase it down, but it just vanishes into the cabinets. Does ANYONE know what this is from, or supposed to be referencing? It was totally random, and had nothing to do with the episode.

KeyserSoze

Didn't the little wagon lead Brian to the stash of dog food under the sink? I'm not sure if it was referencing anything, I just think it was a random way of showing how the dog finds the hidden dog food.

Edit: Found the chicken episode. Season 2 episode called "DaBoom"

No, I don't think it had anything to do with the food. Because he opened up the cabinet, and see's that they are gone...and says something like "One of these days...." or something like that.

I'll have to hit up Google for this.

Brian: Hola, me Ilamo es brian ... Nosotros caramos ir condustedes.. uhhhh ...
Bellboy(spanish): Hey, that was pretty good, except when you said "me llamo es Brian," you don't need the "es," just me llamo Brian.
Brian: Oh, oh you speak english
Bellboy (sigh): No, just that first speech and this one explaining it.
Brian: You .... you're kidding me, right?
Bellboy(spanish): Que?

when they're talking to the guy with peg legs and Quagmire goes, so where you in an accident? and he goes "No, me father was a tree."

I FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brian: "Next time...."

At one point in this episode, Brian is sitting on the couch. A miniature covered wagon suddenly rolls into the living room, and Brian chases it as it goes into the kitchen, and dissapears into a cupboard. This is a reference to Purina's Chuckwagon dog food commercials of the early 1980's. In it, a tiny covered wagon would emerge from an open bag of food and race across the floor - the family dog would be the only one to see it.

jpthomas, you were partially right!!!!!!

When Brian and Stewie are burying Brian's mother:

Brian: Say something.
Stewie: What? Oh, all right. And God said to Abraham, "You will kill your son Isaac." And Abraham said, "I'm sorry, I can't hear you, you'll have to speak into the microphone." And God said, "Oh, I'm sorry, is this better? Jerry, cut the high end out I'm still getting some hiss back here."

I laughed so hard over that I had to pause the DVD... 😀

Peter: Well~! It's about tiiime I hit the dusty old trail~

(all the blacks watch him)

Peter: Oops, wrong way

(goes the other way)

*FIRE ALARM*

Peter: Oops, can't get out that way.

There was a dog food commercial back in the 80's, can't remember the exact name. Think it was "Chuck Wagon". It was that exact way. The dog in the commercial could never catch the "Chuck Wagon" and it would run through the cabinet like a mirage.

Hope this helps.

EDIT: Color me blind. Didn't see your previous post where you found the answer. 🙁

Prolly already discussed in the 5 previous pages but..

"Wack A guy"
"Off A guy"
"Wack off a guy"

That was freakin' sweet.

When Peter is at the rehab center and they ask him name but he tries to make it up. He sees a pea on a plate and says "pea," then sees a girl crying and says "tear," then sees a griffin fly by and says "griffin"

Quote taken from Something About Paulie... WORST EPISODE EVER!!!

I havent read the entire thread yet but i feel I have to post one of mine. Peter is doing something about the nuclear holocaust that is about to ensue, and comes upstairs in a white suit. Chris sees him and screms "The goverment is coming, RUN!! E-T RUNNNN!!! And then E-T comes flying across the screen. I actually spit milk all over myself when I saw that LOL

A couple I have not seen mentioned:

1)The scene where Peter drops the name of some old, obscure 18th century English guy in a reference and it cuts to that guy him sitting at a victorian table in his old English clothes and wig saying "You don't even know who I am..do you?". (Cracked me up)

2) Black Knight: "What's Your fat ass doing here?"

Cleveland on a Donkey: "He's my only means of conveyance, but I suppose I do spoil him"

3) The Brawl scene during the karate episode.

My Two Personal Favorites

4) Peter: Oh my god brian, there's a message in my alphabit soup. It's says oooooooooo...."
Brian: Peter, those are Cheerieos. (From the Indian Casino Episode)

5) Peter runs ove rthe Road runner, and says "Oh my god, I think I just hit something."
Cyote: No, you didn't
Peter: Are You sure?
Cyote: Just keep going (Or something like that 😉
