ugh worst day in tanks for me ever.
all day, a good 4 hours worth, all teams were between 32-48% chance to win
i did NOT get 1 fucking game with a 50% chance or higher today at all wtf

Victory!
Battle: Prokhorovka Friday, September 06, 2013 3:23:41 PM
Vehicle: AMX 13 90
Experience received: 2,236
Credits received: 23,129 (compensation: 130)
Battle Achievements: De Langlade's Medal, Mastery Badge: "2nd Class"

i suck, still need to improve my scouting.

no point keeping the SU-152

edit: unless you plan to keep the 704 in addition to the 268. then keep the su-152 and keep training a crew, and as you move up, do the same

Wouldn't I want a training fodder tank for the Object? Or do people tend to sell their ISU by that point?

As long as a tank is decent, I keep it for training. I still use my T29/32/M103 to train my E5 crew and T28 Prot/T30 to train my E4 crew, for example. Unless you need the credits, I'd keep the 152 for training.

I went 10 for 11, including several games as low as 30% win chance per XVM. In my only loss, I had 4 kills and two awards. A good day! 😉

eh, even then I'd keep the ISU-152 over the SU. The SU-152 is nothing special while the ISU has the BL-10 at tier 8.

well that's what i meant, once he gets the obj704, he sells the su152 and moves crew up to isu152 and keeps training "up"

ah, you mean keep 2 TDs at the same time to keep training. I guess he can do that, but I don't really see a point in keeping the 704 once you have the 268 except for marginal MM differences.

yea i thought the same, but i kinda miss the 704 now, the velocity shell speed of the 268 sucks for sniping.
better to dual train just in case he does want to keep the 704

I wanted to keep my su-152, but have basically never played it after the isu-152 which is just so great. I just had a 6179 damage match in the isu.

How is it even possible to win ONE game out of 15? This game is telling me to GTFO.

Look at this crap - we lost:

What a waste. crappy team?

Holy crap. The ISU-152 is TERRIBLE. Slow, gun does no damage, its traverse is non existent.

Only 45k free exp so can't skip it all directly to the BL-10 either. Ugh.

Did you at least unlock the other 122's before getting to the ISU?

The secret to success to getting the big guns quickly: bank up free exp to get the gun (and turret if you need it), buy the 500k credit suspension kit to bypass the need to research the top suspension for the gun/turret.

Yep of course.

Not exactly sure if I want to spend 500k on the suspension because thats expensive as hell for a very very temporary thing.

Ah, but the trick is to spend 10gold and unmount it so you have it for the next tank. You should only ever need to buy one of each suspension kits and just unmount/remount for 10g each time.

ANYTHING that speeds up getting the big gun is well worth it in my book.

it's more painful to grind a tier 8 TD with a gun that's barely adequate at tier 7. Also you can get it on a sale for 250k and demount it for 10g (which is like 10 cents?) after you're done, and potentially use it on other tanks. (I remember using it once or twice after that). The traverse will NEVER be good on the ISU but without the BL-10, you're just a big fat slow nuisance to tier 9s and 10s.

Do they have regular sales that are announced in advance or what?

Well, got the KV-1, V39, Patton M46, Panther II, Churchill GC, there goes like over 8 mil credits. Plus the crew retrains/new crews.
