I've been inspired to get my M4 Derp with HEAT rounds out!
Lag is bad today for some reason. Others complaining about it as well. Must be server side. I did have this one fight where I was in my Patton and a IS3 runs in to face hug me. I figure okay, Mr. Bouncy Tank wants to play. Gold shell, Gold shell, Gold shell. He's dead. He was so pissed at me he's like, 'WTF??' When I told him they were gold shells he got all upset. When a IS3 runs in and face hugs me, damn right I'm going to use everything I have to survive. *snicker*
I got the 120mm on my mle 48. What a difference! despite the aim time it is much more accurate than the 100mm and due to the damage difference you make a lot more money (the 100mm is crap, 300 damage for a 1k shell - bottom of the heap) and enemy tanks actually fear you. The 100mm cannot touch tanks like the ST-I from the front really...

Probably had my best streak this Sunday morning/afternoon. I went 37-3 for the day.
I ended up unlocking the ARL tier 6 french TD. Its actually not bad. It looks slow, but its actually pretty agile. It also has a good gun that packs a punch. I've got a long way to grind though to get the tier 7 td. From the what I've heard the tier 7 kinda sucks, and its the tier 8-10 that are great. One of these days I'll have that fock155, I just hope when I get it, its as fun to play as the 268.
I just hope they keep having crew xp bonuses. Its daunting trying to finish skilling up the 3rd skill on crews without it. I've only got 2 tanks that have crews on thier 4th skills. I would like to have a few more in the next few months.

Had a good weekend with my T-29 as well, went 13-3 and something like that. Mostly re-bought the tank to help my friend's grind through the tiger better, and I'm slightly envious of how accurate the tiger's gun is. Missing 3-4 105 rounds at 300 meters sucks terribly.
But the 3x training weekend is awesome, my t-29 jumped from a 85% loader to 100% with 75% repairs in less than 20 battles. 😀

The T-29 gets bonus credits the rest of the week also. The gun dispersion can be aggrivating at times, but I'de still take the T-29 over the tiger anyday.
oh heeeey.
but damn, 50% off. I just re-bought this damn thing last week... oh well, no regrets. The extra crew training is well worth it.
On another note: SU-122-44 on sale at the gift shop. Going to pick one up as I've been eying that thing ever since the christmas sale... 😀

It was a good start for me, but then I played during the stupor bowl and I had not quite a strong finish.
Although I did rebuy the 704 and had an epic first game in it for the 6x crew and some lucky bastard got a 12x crew bonus. 4800 damage done with a 75% crew, survived with 9HP, and helped cap out the base while the enemy was mopping up our arty.
I got a week off starting tomorrow. Hopefully the wife leaves me alone. Not sure what I'll do game wise. I have two or three tier nines that are researched completed for the next tank. I suppose I probably should get the T59 and Lowe out and do some serious credit farming so I can buy some tier ten bad boys. So many tanks... so little time. What to do... what to do...

If you like russian TDs, then you'll like the 122-44. If you don't like TDs, then stay very far away. It certainly helps if you have a well trained 704/268 crew to stick in here, although it does suck that one of your poor loaders has to sit out since the 122-44 only has one loader instead of 2.
When you are top tier, it just destroys thing with a 6.75s reload on a gun with 390 dam. Although since its only got 175 pen, it lacks when you get in a tier 9 battle. Its also of course not all that accurate, so El Halluf can get frustrating. It does of course have T-44 speed, so you can book it around a map with no problems. It doesn't make tier 8 premium credits, but it still makes enough to be well worth it.
Yeah I plan to stick the 704 crew in there and rotate out the loader. I'm pretty familiar with the russian style of tank destroyers and just looking to add another tank to the credit making rotation. 🙂
Edit: had an amazing game yesterday where me and my platoon mate held off 4 T-29s. He was in his tiger, I was in my t-29. It's amazing how few t-29s know how to hull down properly...

Just bought the 122-44 last night, really liking it so far. Seems to be really bouncy too, I smiled as I would counter and obliterate most in 2 shots if I was top tier. Pretty fun tank, credit making was alright, averaging 40k after ammo and repairs. My only other Russian tank is a T-50-2 so I didn't have a trained crew for it, gold trained one to 100% but no skills 🙁 hehe

The second you buy it the timer starts.
I noticed it's easy to make 100k profit in this tank if you don't use gold shells as they are 12g each and do around 2-4k damage. So basically tier 7 matches usually = good profit and tier 9 matches = breaking even (once had a loss though).
Best tanks to make profit are the ones were you don't have to use premium ammo to do damage/win. That would be t-34 for me as its ap ammo got 250mm pen.
Gold shells cost credits now too. Dont use gold to buy gold shells use credits. I keep some on all my tanks now.
yep, that's what I ment 12g shells are * 400 = 4800 silver.. so very pricey shells.

I hope they have one of those gold shell sales soon. I need to restock my supply of konisch rounds for my VK3601. I'll probably end up buying 4-5k of those, 500-1000 pz4 derp shells, and probably another 1k T-54 shells. That'll probably hold me over for awhile and drain my credit account.
I really need to just sit down and grind out about 50-100+ games in my T34 and su-122-44 to build my bank account back up. I'm sitting at around 9M right now, but that wont last if they have a gold shell sale. Plus I'll be buying the tier 7 french TD and chinese medium in the near future, so that'll take a few million.
I'm hoping they put the type59 in the gift shop for Feb 10 which will be the chinese new year. This way I can pick one up and I'll have more fun grinding credits with that, than my T34.

Nice bank acct lol, highest I've saved up was 3 million, which was promptly spent on my M40/43.
What's a decent 122-44 match look like for you as far as credits?

I've had a few 100k plus gross games which will net around 70-80k. Those games however are few and far between. I usually net 15-35k on a decent game, and 50k+ on a good/great game. I have a premium account though, so if you have a regular account shell costs can significantly impact your net credits.
I run 50/50 regular/premium ammo, so on some games I run out of regular ammo, and only have premium left, which cuts into the profits. Regular shells aren't cheap either at 1k, and since you can lob them every 6.6s you can go through quit a few of them. Also since the accuracy isn't that great and niether is the pen, you'll have alot of misses/no damage shots, which kills your return on investment.
It wont make as many credits/game as the tier 8 premiums, but its significantly cheaper gold wise. That and you can use it to train your 268/704 crews (minus an unlucky loader).
damn, gotta wait till the 7th after work to get it then.
