Well, it depends. If it's a simple one flavor juice it can be vapable almost as soon as you mix it. Of course it will get better after some steeping. The more complicated the flavor the longer the steep time needed for everything to meld together. With most juices I've had I've found two weeks to be a happy point. But count shipping and your at two and a half. Most are good after a couple days to a week but it's a noticeable difference after a bit more time. Tobacco flavors in particular take a month to start getting good.

OK thanks.

They sent me a 17% off coupon, so I couldn't say no.

I cut it back to 1000ml just in case. But I got stuff to make standard menthol, menthol menthol, bubblegum, then a bunch of dessert flavors to play around with. My goal is to make strawberry cheesecake using graham cracker, whipped cream and vanilla cupcake. Even with buying the initial stuff like beakers, syringes and squeeze bottles, its only $100 for 1000ml. In the future that should go down to about $70. I've been paying $40 for 120ml locally, so I'm game to try this.

I don't DIY (yet) but if you aren't aware, make sure to check the diacetyl and/or diketone content of the flavorings you buy.

After this thread I understand why there is such hype and market for this complete crap.

More power to companies selling shit garbage.

Meanwhile, I really hope you guys consider your health before you "vape" whatever it is that they put in to this "juice" or cartridges.

And I hope you realize they can put in ANYTHING into it. It's not regulated.

chances are HIGH it's something you want NO part of to get you hooked even more. Companies know American Tobacco business is going downhill, so this is their latest and greatest creation.

Good luck

Hi. You're an uneducated moron who couldn't take 10 seconds to Google before posting your ignorant opinion. Hell the picture above your post shows exactly what is in this "juice".

Propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin plus sugerry flavors of fruits and what not with some nicotine. No tar, rat poison, etc. Pg and VG are common in a lot of foods and household consumables. A lot of people are misinformed.

Yup, and if there is any small risk from vaping It's laughable considering the alternative of inhaling burning tobacco leaves. I showed my neighbor my MVP 20W and explained to her that I'm down to 3-4 analog cigs/day and she actually responded with "my doctor told me not to use Ecigs as there are no studies in yet and they may be dangerous", meanwhile she chugs through 2 packs a day of Pall Mall's, yea, I'm sure your doctor told you that was a better option LOL..

rudeguy, I am guessing you have done due research thus the following tidbits from my experiences when first mixing will be of little use but I will post it anyhow in case you or others reading get some useful info.

Use a mixing calculator and keep detailed notes. I use the popular app eJuice Me Up. There are others available but I have had no need to try them. When developing new recipes I save the first iteration as **01 then on the second I use the notes section within the calculator to record taste likes and dislikes as well as what i changed then save that as **02 and so on.

Take it slow. As with any new hobby or interest it is easy to rush toward the more advanced realm but it will serve one well to get a firm grasp of your base taste preferences with simple single note or even flavorless recipes before venturing into more complex mixes.

I myself struggled early on with a harsh edge to all my mixes until someone suggested I simplify by mixing unflavored juices to find where the harshness originated. By doing so I found I much preferred a higher VG content and the coinciding transition to dripping called for a lower nic content. I had been buying ready mixed juices at 50/50 with the oft quoted idea that PG=flavor and VG=vapor. For the most part excepting a few flavors which separate in high VG solution that notion does not hold up in my experiences.

Many have adopted the 100 drop method for mixing small test batches of a new recipe. This simplifies things by eliminating any need to measure tenths or hundredths of a ml the calculators will often indicate is needed for small batches. Instead each drop equals one percent. You can premix your PG/VG/Nic solution then add the appropriate amount for the test batch.

For example, if I were to want to try a strawberries and cream recipe I might think a good starting mix to be 7% strawberry, 3% cream and since I like sweeter juices, 2% sweetener of my choosing. I would transfer 7 drops of strawberry, 3 drops of cream and 2 drops of sweetener to a small bottle then add the 88 drops of PG/VG/Nic solution needed to add up to 100 drops. After steeping and/or tasting you can easily raise or lower individual flavors by 1%(drop) in the next batch. After dialing in the recipe use syringes to precisely replicate it in larger batches. Some will leave out the nicotine to further reduce the cost of waste in developing a recipe. I recommend buying a bundle of cheap disposable pipettes for this method of mixing.

Once you have your flavor preferences down and think you may become a permanent mixologist, buy your most used ingredients in larger volumes. Store in cool dark area. I have designated the veggy drawer of my beer fridge as the vapor drawer. The cost per ml savings is astounding. Last time I loosely calculated my per ml cost is down to to below 4 cents. I occasionally use the savings to justify buying a "premium" juice at $22 for 30ml. More often I wonder how many of those paying $22 know how cheap the ingredients in that juice is.

I'm still trying to get my VG/PG where I want it myself.

Thanks for that one, ZOXXO.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

It is a bit of a learning process apparently for what you like personally.

*edit* be careful with the niciotine, Rude, I still don't play with it mixing out of the bottle. But I imagine you've seen that.

Usually just still diluting strong nicotine pre mixed flavors myself I guess.

Good point on handling Nicotine solution, MonGrel.

What I did the first round was buy a 120ml of 50/50 PG/VG 100mg/ml nic solution. Using nitrile gloves, safety goggles and a long sleeved shirt, I diluted that with 360ml of 50/50 PG/VG solution. Resulting in 480ml of 50/50 PG/VG 25mg/ml nic solution. I stored this in 120ml and 60ml glass boston round bottles. This way I only handled the more dangerous 100mg/ml nic solution once.

After dropping my mixes down from 12mg and raising my VG levels up, the calculator will sometimes return a negative value for PG. I simply subtract the PG value from the reported VG value to keep the ratio correct.

My next nicotine solution order will be either a liter or a gallon of 100mg/ml in 100% VG. I will dilute it to 10mg/ml in 100% VG to better accommodate my now known mixing preferences.

Nicotine solution as well as PG and VG can easily stand a year of storage in a freezer and most assume five or more years of stability.

ENJOY

Thanks!

I think one of my main problems was I didn't allow enough steep time and I think I messed up on the nic level. I made 100ml of bubble gum that was crap. I then made a couple smaller batches that were ok but I could tell they needed to steep. I also made a sweet batch of random yummy flavors that smells really good but isn't very tasty. I think that one needs to steep as well.

I'm also thinking I want to go heavier on the VG. This Atlantis can handle it, so why not?

They used to have a minty flavor, but I don't see it.

My current favorites are Crème Brule (not the "absolute crème brulee") Radioactive and Virus. Also Frenilla is an amazing vanilla vape. Very unique. The only juice I've tried and didn't like much was Gravity. Its a fruit vape and has a good flavor but I found it harsh for some reason. Everything else is amazing really. Their juices are on the sweet side though, so keep that in mind.

what the fuck

Companies are in business to make money. if they can get you hooked on something, they WILL. Repeating business and extracting as money as possible from you is what they are about.

They care 0 about your health.

There is a LONG history of companies using public as guinea pigs. Look at the tobacoo industry....you know? the same guys that brought you this BS product cause their sector is going downhill in US?

If you think FDA or some other organization is protecting you.......well, joke is on you.

I'm just trying to help you.

It's your health.

I DOUBT any of you guys are chemistry experts. You are mixing all kinds of stuff that you have no idea about. I'm pretty sure even chemistry experts will have hard time telling you the effects of the chemicals you are mixing together or the effects on human body or it's health.

Good luck!

I think I'll order 15ml of stranilla and cookie. Are they good with shipping as standard or should I use priority?

4 ingredients in ejuice - propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, flavoring, and nicotine. The last one is optional. All of those ingredients are safe.

Why the F are you inhaling ANY of it is the big question?

What's the point?

How do you know it's "safe". Did the sales guy tell you this?
