Yep

I love vaping now. I try new shit all the time. I spend way too much money on it, but its something I really enjoy. If I am stressing out at work, I can kick back, take a few huge rips and feel like a new man. Plus some of the stuff is just cool. My setup right now looks like something out of Star Trek. Chrome blue battery, chrome tank with a glass window. I'm just hoping I don't see anything shiny when I go in there tonight to buy coils.

Not sure if you are an ex-smoker or not like I am but I am exactly like you with the impulse buying of vape stuff I don't really need but dammit I NEED it and I still don't think I spend as much as I used to on cigs. It costs a lot more at one time then it used to but $50 one time can easily last me a month now.

I really like my Itaste SVD so far with the iclear 30's it came with. I have quite a few ce4's laying around to try new stuff on just in case I hate it. Bought a V2 aerotank and 10 coils and the fucker worked for exactly a week. I learned how to clean the coils on my iclear's and meh, works good enough. I already lost $40 trying a new tank, was pretty decent when it worked though.

As far as steeping, I buy a lot of juice that I like at once and a few new ones. I just take the caps/drippers off all of them when they come in and put it on a shelf on my desk. If I need one of them I don't wait any preset days, I just start using it. Some juices definitely get better after steeping though, I just try to order before I am completely out.

The latest toy I've found and can give a glowing recommendation for is the FreeMax Starre tank. Both flavor and vapor production is the best I've ran across, you'd need to have the power to push it though. Probably something in the 60+ watt range. Absolutely just blows through the e-liquid though...

Heads up for any Anandtech vapers wishing to explore the bottom feeding(squonking) experience on the cheap, Focalecig is running a group buy for a squonker complete with atty for $21.90 or from the USA warehouse for $24.50.

I've had a Reo on my wishlist forever but have never gotten to a point where spending ~$160 for what's essentially a mech mod made good sense.

Looking forward to trying this thing out. To me squonking holds the promise of the full rich flavor and vapor production of RDAs coupled with the fill it and forget it convenience of tanks. Best of both worlds so to speak.

With the recent and pending releases of several Chinese squonkers it appears 2015 may very well become the year of the squonker. Hopefully it will catch on to the point where manufacturers offer bottom feeding versions of the more popular RDAs or include predrilled center posts with them.

My current dream mod would be a ~100watt temperature controlled bottom feed mod in a dual 18650 or comparable amp hour configuration.

ENJOY

I for sure used to smoke cigs. I still have a pack. I smoked one a few months ago, so there are 19 left. Wonder if they go bad?

I'm still mixing my own juice and have found the steep time is directly related to the sucrose in the mix. Sweetener needs time to steep but the less sweet mixes don't need hardly any time.

I'm still using the Atlantis and MVP 3.0. I want to get the new Atlantis Mega but I just bought coils so I'm going to wait a bit.

turns out the Mega uses the same coils as the Atltantis :hmm:

I should just shut up and buy the darn thing. I know if I don't, I'll end up paying double as soon as I go into a smoke shop.

I'm really getting the hang of making juice now. I perfected what I knew I liked (bubblegum menthol) and have started playing around with others.

I'm also a bit bored, so I'm using my ultrasonic cleaner to mix it. Trying to find a way to get the menthol crystals to disolve faster.

I smoke on extremely rare occasions (usually I'm around a smoker and they'll offer me one and I'll accept it.) I had been given money a long time ago to buy a pack for a coworker and I did, and then he just never remembered to take them. It was about 1.5 years later and I found them in a drawer and thought what they hell. It still tasted the same in my opinion (not great) but it burned up within 3 puffs. My guess is it was dried out and like kindling.

Why the F are you inhaling ANY of it is the big question?

What's the point?

How do you know it's "safe". Did the sales guy tell you this?

Because people want to stop smoking?

and peach/watermelon vaping taste a lot better than a marlboro light and doesnt stink up the room with second hand smoke.

I can promise that unless you are buying some Chinese stuff with who knows what in it, e-cig juice is very well defined. PG, VG, nicotine and flavoring. The flavoring could be an X factor but again unless you are buying Chinese, no name stuff, its all very clear.

I just mixed up 100ML. I know exactly what is in it. There is no risk or doubt. When I buy from the local smoke shop, its the same thing. vdub is just spewing ignorance.

I buy the 50/50 base with 6MG nic from ecigexpress and my favorite juice has been the chocolate/coconut/almond blend they have from capella.

Just went to their site, great pricing and they have the 24mg strength I prefer. Seems a LOT of e-liquid makers are maxing out at 6Mg nowadays, I don't know why but it's not strong enough for me and I wont buy it.

There is another route to go, "The big dipper" addresses the problem in a different way, a big ass tank that you "pump" juice on to your RBA.http://www.grandvaporstation.com/rebuildables/big-dripper-rda.html

Just upgraded from the iStick 20W with the Aspire mini (1.8ohm) to the TC100W with a Crown tank (1.2ohm) and it's night and day difference! Anyone thinking of the TC100W jump on it, it's a great mod! Just a warning the Crown tank gives great flavor but your juice consumption will triple..... so will the clouds😱

Any decent sub-ohm rig will drink the juice...

I just got an Aspire Oddysey Mini kit...I easily empty the tank in less than a day.

IMO, not worth it...I went back to the Nautilus tank.

I sampled some of their stuff a couple of years ago in the local vape shop.

Seemed OK, but nothing fabulous...and expensive.

yeah, i'm on 6w and a battery lasts me 2 weeks 🙂
actually, anything above 15w is too much for the nautilus mini - i guess this battery was made for bigger coils.

Anyone know of a juice reservoir that works with the Kangertech EVOD battery? I checked their website but didn't see anything.

The reason I'm looking for a different one is that they leak out the mouthpiece and elsewhere if you don't keep the e-cig upright on the battery at all times, which I find annoying. The clearomizers on their site don't appear to work with the EVOD. Might have to just buy a complete new setup. :-/

Should have both 510 threads and EGO threads. Just about any decent tank should work. IMNO, the Nautilus tanks are a bit too big for those batteries...but they work...and don't leak. Nautilus Mini Tank would be a better size fit for those:

Check out VapeNW. Good prices, fast shipping.

I'll also recommend vapenw, good place to get batteries, devices, and other things. Their shipping usually is on time too.
