I think Mill is about to explode!
Nah, I'm not upset that you are both jealous of me. I can pick what I really want to do in life and know that I am financially secure no matter what job I choose. I can pick my childhood dream job and not worry about if I have enough money to buy a house.
Again, WTF are you talking about? Stay on topic for once.
It's obvious that you have absolutely no argument with this. You can't even stay within the scope of the topic at hand.
I've posted information that Troy State is Tier 2, and that US News and World Report and Kaplan's considers Tier 2 to be middle of the road. You've said your personal opinion was that they are poorly regarded. I asked for evidence to support your opinion, and all you can do is restate your opinion. Neither one of you has offered anything other than a personal opinion.
OBVIOUSLY. So have you. Are you really this stupid?
I've provided my opinion and said why.
You just cry about it.
Evidence =! a tautological explanation.
Again, it is my OPINION based on the US News and how I interpret it.
So what are you going to cry about next?
But your opinion flys in the face of what the US news and world report rankings actually mean. I can base an opinion of an article, but the article has to support what I'm saying. By pure logic 2nd tier means it would not be poor, because poor would have to be less than the middle tier. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Tier. You could make an argument that 1st Tier is Good, 2nd Tier is Average, 3rd is Fair, and 4th is Horrible.
It's asinine to suggest that 2nd tier would correlate to a poor category.
Again, that's just your opinion. You can have an opinion and so can I. Apparently you can't let anyone have an opinion on anything Alabama related, unless it agrees with you.
In my opinion, a 2nd tier ranked school in a southern only non-doctoral ranking is a poorly regarded school. That's it. If you're 2nd tier, 3rd tier, or 4th tier, then you're not highly regarded.
I think I've given you plenty of chances to support your opinion with evidence. Saying something X times doesn't make it anymore true or valid.
The evidence is US News
"Like the National Universities?Doctoral, these institutions provide a full range of undergraduate and master's programs. But they offer few, if any, doctoral programs. The 573 universities in this category are ranked within four geographic areas?North, South, Midwest, and West?because, in general, they tend to draw students heavily from surrounding states."
Each tier has similar numbers. If Troy State is even 300th out of the 573 that means they are still middle of the road. Considering there are tens of thousands of schools with college programs, I'd think that gives credence to the fact that they aren't "poorly" regarded.
